  1. I am really glad to hear that Andrew made sure Ben recieved the best medical attention. Ben is a real asset to the lab. A lot of customers insist that Ben helps them. My father lost his left eye in a work related accident a number of years ago. There was no concern surrounding the loss of his other eye, so I hope the same applies to Ben. I am sure he recieved swift attention so the risk was minimised.
  2. What happened? I know Ben very well, we used to ride on the Hi-Q team together. I hope the lab helps him out with his medical expenses and pays him while he is out of action. Damn fine bloke.
  3. HA ha, I always back myself. Thanks D#7. And take your eyes off my beloved Bianchi, it's Eddy's time to shine.
  4. I will be racing this beast on Saturday at the JoBurg Cup. Hope to see some Hubbers racing or spectating. Racing starts at 8am and runs till 4pm. Some of the Pro-Riders confirmed for event are NOLAN HOFFMAN, JAMES PERRY, JAMIE BALL and DENNIS VAN NIEKERK. Main race of the day, the 15km scratch race, will be run at about 3pm. Good chance to see these guys in action up close.
  5. THanks, spoken to him already.
  6. Please sms me on 0823015168 of you can help me out or know how to get hold of SABC cycling show. Thanks
  7. Sweet, see you all there for an anearobic interval session!
  8. Is this on tonight and what time?
  9. Chunkster, good memories hey? We had two of the New Zealnd guys stay with us on that Tour. They were scaffy dudes. I remember getting back from racing at Germiston one night and they just climbed in o bed without showering after a nights racing. Kiwi's, go figure. I got a picture somewhere of a very young ( and slightly smaller Shaun Lynch) taken at a provincial prize giving back in the 80's. Shaun you better give me permission to post it. I alos remember to HUTCH Team riders from the US, with the likes of Woody Itsen, the trick dude. He blew everyone away with his tricks at Lonehill and was a deamon o the quarterpipe. Loved and miss those days.
  10. KDEE I already got a Dia Comp caliper just need lever. Also got Redline original bars, front blade and flite cranks. Man I can just imagine a stash of old school parts in someones garage somewhere. Plenty available on the net form the US and UK but prices are insane.
  11. I am still trying to build up an old school BMX from the 80's. If anyone knows where I can find a Redline, GT, Diamond Back or CW (all bikes I use to race) frame from the 80's please let me know. Any old school parts too.
  12. I was fined 250 Swiss Francs at the track. [Funny thing is that the person who fined me now has to answer allegations of fraud at CGC. So I don't feel bad about the amount of grief I gave her] Had to pay fine to CSA before I could race again. Must admit it was best 250 Swiss Francs I ever spent.
  13. Looked like great racing. Hope to see you guys up in JHB for the race on the 27th of Sept Any results for the racing?

  16. Simon has contacted me. My apologies Simon for starting the thread. If I had known it would have resulted in all the negative postings I would not have done so. I can't believe how many Hubbers will use any opportunity to have a dig at someone.
  17. HR please can you send me the other one you have, I have a 074100.... number that is no longer working. Thanks Gary
  18. Anyone got a landline contact number for Simon Henderson's physio practice in Meyerton?
