  1. Arranged myself. Prefer to do my own thing when it comes to holidays. Do the same when we go skiing, we never go through a Tour Operator, it works out cheaper.
  2. I am going over to London to watch the prologue and 1st stage. SWEET.
  3. Anyone know if this is going ahead this year?
  4. I can honestly recommend the Power Tap. The best money I have spent on my bike in a long time. Only thing is you need to get a coach who understands training with power and who can correctly interpret the data from training and racing. I have been using it for the last month. I swear the difference between what I was doing and what I am now doing is like night and day. Training without Power is a waste of time as far as I am concerned. I am not knocking other training techniques, devices etc, but personally I can already see the difference, and this is the first training program I have ever been on that I really believe in. So if you can afford it go for either an SRM or Power Tap. Good luck.
  5. The elite bunch passed by the crash shortly after it happened. iIt looked horrific and it is always sad when a fellow cyclist ends up in hospital. I really hope he makes a full recovery and is able to ride again. Well done to Trackie and his stoker Gavin on their win in the tandem category. It should be mentioned that Gavin is also a blind stoker, so very well done. Ronel is correct, Carla was fourth. Not bad for a trackie! ( but then again I can't help being biased.) The ladies racing in the tri-nations is going to be interesting as this is the first time in a long time that they are competing internationally on the track. Good luck to all the ladies in the team, Carla, Lynette, Ilza, Ronel, Anel and Joanne.
