1A for me, hoping to achieve my 1st sub3

Started in the B group Helz was hard as always, few guys attempting a break away but nothing worked. Pity no real team work / rotation on the front. Was a good race all in all

Only 343 riders managed a sub 3 this year. Guys that usually ride around the 2:50, didn't manage to achieve a sub 3

started in the & Group, was sitting comfortable in the bunch, until my chain dropped on Edinburg drive, and saw the bunch disappear ahead. Still managed a sub 3:10, all in all a tough day out. Better conditions pretty sure that time would have gotten me a Sub 3

any conditions will be better than a few years ago, Stellenbosch race and few months ago Winelands race🌧️

its most likely the wind will change over the next few days, lets wait till Thursday for a more accurate indication. Hard work into the wind and enjoy the tail winds up chappies, suikerbossie, all the way back at high speeds.

on average, when riding a sub 3, what is the target speeds and times up Chappies and Suikerbossie?
