I Live in PTA and do all my bike stuff with them
Finish Line are the best. They are in Dann Road in Kempton Park
You definitely get the back pack as your goody bag when you register. Also the quality is not such that I would purchase one separately.
Thanks Showtime. Walked around with a normal kit bag this weekend and it was a big schlep. Paying R900 bucks for an Orca or 2xu transition bag also doesn't really make any sense to me at this point
What normally comes in your goodie bag at the SA 70.3? The reason for me asking is that this weekend I saw a couple of people walking around with their Ironman back packs. Now they sell for R160 on the online shop, however if you get one before the race their is no use in buying one now.
I did, was very well organized. A flat bike course made for some fast going.
Agree, was a very lekke event. The heat on the run was just a killer, but still a lot of fun
Rumour
Hold on to your hats ladies and gents, word is La Gazatta and Ferrari have been in touch and he is going to be releasing his 'list'.
I don't know if it's the full list of cyclist only that he's worked with, or every athlete.
I actually hope, for the sake of opening the eyes of the rest of the sporting world, that it's the names of every athlete he's worked with.
Will settle though for 'just' the cyclists.
Should break "in the coming days".
Where did you manage to pick up that rumor?
Who is doing the race this weekend?
he can always write a book then...
Where can I download it from?
My 2c worth. I have not read the entire thread. Still think this is going to backfire in some way. Alot of fingers are going to be pointed at a lot of people. Vaughters is already writing about everyone as if it is public knowledge (and I know on theHub, it is). RaboBank leaving is just the start. More riders, more sponsors etc etc.
I'm off to do my first swim in 20 min
Must say after a lay off since this years 70.3 I'm excited to get fit again
My first session saw me do 50m before nearly drowning!!! I am up to 80 lengths in the pool, so training is still fairly on course
He reminds me of this dude:

There is something wrong with the Yogurt!!! That's Mayonnaise
what he lacks, she makes up for. perfect match.
Fat?
My Inhaler uses Salmeterol. You are allowed to use it in competition with a note from the uDokotela!
My Inhaler contains Steroids!! Get yourself one of those
A Caterpillar with tracks!!! That is the only thing that will get you up those hills
Trying out my new rear Hope hub. I hope it works. I hope the race is easy. I hope there is gold beer at the end!
I will be there! Already started to train, and it is going good so far. Have to perfect the swimming leg though.
You will use more watt going uphill and might tire faster that what he does. However, on flats you should have more power to put down. So depending on the course, the winner will be determined.
just my 2c worth
I see that they have the Buffelspoort event up for the 30th of September 2012 but we cannot enter yet? No info to the race etc. etc.
Anybody have some inside info?
People put bicycles on Ferrari's in this country!! You will be fine!
Maak hom vas met cable ties iewers
Would also go MTB as there are more places to ride, fairly safely. Try to stretch your budget a bit and get a Scott 29 Team

This is a question most of us miss IMO. What is your fat %? If you weigh 100kg with 16% body fat there you are doing very good.
I weigh 91kg with 19% body fat and the Dietitian says we should get to 16% which will mostly probably get me down to 16% body fat
