Howzit SkunkWorks. Looking at cycling mainly and half Triathlons, altitude stats
It does not have live altitude stats (Meters climbed etc,) but you can see all that when you upload it. Did half Ironman with mine and it was fine. Did not bug me in any of the disciplines.
I have one, up load all my workouts to Training Peaks and Strava via a online converter. The watch has the same gps chip as the old Garmin 310xt. I enjoy mine. What kind of strats do you want to capture and compare?
Finished! That is about that!
Stage 2 broke me in half, cramped, had to stop, was dropped by bunch after bunch, went from racing mode to survival mode. Almost fell asleep after stage 2, almost passed out after stage 3 and was bloody happy after the finish!
In hind site it was a good race. Can put a tick next to it on my races to do list!

What sort of race times is everyone hoping for?
My brother & I are aiming for between 5 & 5.5 hours.

After doing 8:51 in the saddle on day two of Sani, 5.5 hours is a very short ride! lol

My first race, have to say that my run is bad, so all in all, would be happy with a 6:30 race. Feel strong and very excited!

Is there anybody going to the South Coast for the holidays? Is there some form of open water swimming with a club, or do some guys go out on specific days etc.?

Swimming Fine, Cycling fine, running will most probably get me to the end, however very slowly

i wish my body fat is 24% and its all around my gut and handles!!!!! zero on my legs, and very little on my arms
What are you eating on a daily basis? I was eating too little which resulted in my body keeping reserves. I eat more now and loose weight
