  1. Hi Guys My complex has been hit a few times in the past months by the same guy. We have extended our walls and installed a new electric fence but he still gets over and makes it look so easy. Besides a guard or a dog what other security products can we use as these CCTV cameras are useless as he stares right into the camera and we cannot make him out. I have told the other trustees that we should install a 10 strand "V" shape fence instead of this pathetic 5 strand one.
  2. See this is were I say battle to get rid of bad habits... the stick on number is brilliant as you still pin it but guess what no flapping around in the wind.... I posted this on my FB status earlier this week: This year marks my 11th 94.7 Cycle Challenge and its the 1st time ever that I have gotten an "A" seeding index. I decided to breakdown my results and this is what I got. I have ridden the race once on an MTB it was the 1st 94.7 I did in a time of 4:55 starting in group "OG" I have then done 6 races on my tricycle with an average time of 5:42 I have ridden it on my road bike 3 times all under sub three with the best being last year in "C" Group with a 2:40 "A" group I expect a 2:30 this year pretty please hahahahaha
  3. Where is that?
  4. Are they the same as Darkhorse?
  5. Well then the normal SL's are what I can afford lol...
  6. This is what the mavics look like on my bike more or less dont think they are the same model but similar
  7. Mavics are always great, the shimano are new. The darkhorse are nice and light but its a pain to keep changing pads on your bike if you swop wheels. What else should I consider besides 2nd hand?
  8. Hi Please help me choose. I have roughly 8k to spend. These are the options Shimano 2013 RS80 C50 from buycycle whose website is down currently http://www.evobikes.co.za/wheels/wheelsets-road/mavic-cosmic-carbone-sl-wheelset.html http://www.evobikes.co.za/wheels/wheelsets-road/darkhorse-wheels-dh50ch-wheelset.html Which would you choose and why? I want clinchers as I do not want to glue tyres on and battle lol.. They are going onto an older model clear coated carbon Pinarello with Dura-Ace on.
  9. So I bought glasses yesterday so that R185 to the found if ASG pays....whoop whoop
  10. From an outsiders perspective who supports both CWC & ASG equally I applaud them on taking up the challenge. I actually like the spin that both parties have put into force... 1 CWC say hey Wayne pay R50 and we will donate R5000 as its a cheeky but a nice spin 2 ASG say we have no more budget but we will donate 10% of sales for this period. I say KUDOS to both for even accepting the challenge...
  11. Boys boys boys you forget the most important one!!!! Burry SSWC 2012 WHOOP WHOOP hahahaha Greg @ Recent Downhill Impey in Yellow And my Froomey for winning TDF (Gave my dad an excuse to say, see if you just continued riding with him you could be there as well...)
  12. I got quite alot of coverage actually considering... Day one was cool with my wheelie pic...
  13. He is so strong he pulled past us without a saddle amazing and his wife/partner was so light she would just float over the loose sand it was amazing...
  14. Hi Guys Yep 4th Mixed Team 32nd Overall Well what an adventure, nevermind the race getting there is where it all started... A stupid GPS took us via the Lesotho boarder post and on a 400km sand road journey... 16 hrs later we arrived at Morgans bay with a scratched new car as I had to drive through a bush tunnel and swamps to get there.. Note to self do not take 1st Morgans Bay offramp from the N2 as thats where the bush tunnel was... This race is amazing but difficult if you have not done it before as there is no marked route and can take a shortcut anywhere you want be but aware sometimes its not a shortcut... Day 1 After climbing the first hill really quickly we joined up with the front group of elite men putting us into first mixed place but that was lost as we got lost and ended up seeing a ship wreck so we last our advantage and ended up with 4th place in mixed which we fought to keep the whole way through. My ITB problem flaired up as the portages become more difficult so this slowed me down on the fast flats but I powered on... Day 2 Was probably our best day/ Day 3 My partner fell and hurt her knee we had to nurse her for the rest of the stage but she is one tough cookie. Day 4 We were glad it was over... the longest stage took us +- 6hrs 4mins Coming back home wasn't so eventful but took 11hrs... But now the best part...just as I think my adventure had ended I started getting sick... What do I get??? Flippen Tick Bite Fever so dying with pain and headaches at the moment... But after a 10yr wait I think it was worth it!!!
  15. Im going to Imana next week... bring me wifi mate...
  16. Would be cool esp the stage events in the middle of nowhere
  17. Ok so now im looking at two Forester XT's one manual the other auto.. If I am going to have bad fuel consumption I might as well have it with some turbo fun....
  18. So whats your fuel consumption then? My company currently pays my fuel...
  19. What didn't you like about the gearbox? Its a CVT so if you put your foot down the revs climbing and its noisey but if you put it into trip tronic mode this can be avoided... I was expecting around 10 - 11 L/100km
  20. I want to buy a 2007 GLS AT 2.4 What should I look out for and what problems have you experienced? Car has 110 000km on the clock.
