  1. So please explain all these Press Fit BB sizes... Is BB30 the same as BB90 (Shimano) or do the actual BB holes differ in size or is it just externally they differ? What works with what cranks? How can I tell which size my new frame takes? All these numbers are confusing. Ok the Frame is a 2010 Yeti ASR Carbon. Next by changing the Headset can I make it tapered steer or does the whole frame need to change due to size restrictions... Thanks for the help.
  2. Get well bud and once you are better get back onto the bike and ride the same trail it will help you conquer the fear you now have...
  3. It depends on what you ride... Take the Mankele Avalanche its a 4X race ie Hectic Downhill with lots of pedalling uphill lol.... We do it in Baggies others go all out and wear helmets and guards.... Either way if you fall its going to hurt. After my last fall cost me 2 shoulder ops I have now ordered a Special vest that will protect my shoulders in case of an impact. Its short sleeve so not really visible...I think we can all laugh at people heavily kitted until we get hurt so bad we do not want to take a chance... So each to his own I guess...

I still beat you with weight lol.... Over 45kg with 3 gears. My toolbox weighs 5kg alone as I need a 27 Spanner to take my wheel off incase of a puncture lol This year on my racer going for my 3rd Sub 3 I am tired of the long rides on the tricycle... I want to break the 2:45 mark or at least match it on this harder route if its the same as last year...
  12. Hit trails and then go to another place to eat. Its a mission to chill and start my own braai. So the cheaper the better. Also remember it cost a lot for us to travel there.
  13. R30 seems to be the going rate but to be honest it sucks. R20 is ok and the option of multiple entries is a must to make it around R10 per entry... the cheaper a place is the more I go. I do not like Yearly tickets as then I get bored quickly..
  14. Rubbish sealant that reacts to CO2 Bombs or just Rubbish sealant that runs dry. Now before everybody moans we all have our favorite sealant. Most prefer Stans/Joes which cause these Balls. I used to be a Rep for OKO and frankly I still believe its the best due to it having been tested and used by the military, no other sealants can claim that to my knowledge. OKO even has various grades depending on your application where no other sealants can say that. No the 1st complaint will be OKO is to think it does not seal my wheel....Well sorry for you your wheel should seal without sealant in the 1st place if it is a proper tubeless tyre and rim. I do not mess with the half jobs. OKO also lasts the lifetime of the tyre so will not dry out. I have done tests. It also works the best with high pressure road tyres as the formula doesn't run out due to its thickness. I bought some Caffe Latte the other day to try it out but one mate said its rubbish... I like to test myself and have use most sealants out on the market... Oh when I was in Ireland I bought a Joes/Stans gel sealant. It is yellow. It works really well. Only problem is now can we still find OKO??? I still have some of my last 20L drum lol....
  15. Cola flavour like those yummy gels of another brand
  16. Price?
  17. On groupon they talk about Philips Dimmable Downlighters are available at R25 each. Now is that a catch or a mistake?
  18. Sorry for you. I had a Grade 5 of 6 AC Joint Separation. They put in the "Plate of Pain" and removed it 7 months later...This is not a fun operation and means plenty time off bike. Good luck with your recovery.
  19. Hey hey, I was one of the Nokia boys, are you talking about that crash that happened in that bend just before the forest climb? Please send me footage as I just entered the forest when I thought my team mate had gone down in it...

  24. Riding Faster is the Idea.... I am not worried about the weather, I just know how drying a big normal towel takes and I don't feel like unpacking a stinky box each day... Very clever Idea but is the car cloth big enough.... speaking of which I just bought one of the Revo Blitz clothes that came down from R150 to R59 at Builders Maybe I need to give it a try tonight lol.....
