  1. Unfortunately I was only there from about 12:30 till the pro's came in ... and in-between had a few beers, trying to find a missing spez-helmet/garmin/rudy-project ... so didn't get that many pics. So started this thread - there must be many pics taken by people right through the event ... please post them here ... for the rest of us to find them

  11. Eish ... Broken hand for something not exactly spectacular ???? Get well soon bro
  12. lol ... ok no ... it wasn't meant to sound "demanding" ... just used to their normal high standards but having said that, with the entry fee increase - I assumed (and we all know what happens when we assume) that it included something "special" and this will also be our last year riding the s2c
  13. Very nice as always, but don't see any "special" 10 year anniversary stuff ...
  14. O yes ... I do ???? That was only the truth ... and a compliment I thought ????
  15. Nice idea - I would however prefer to wear mine for the 1st hour or so till it warms up - then toss it But these have to be "decent" quality and very affordable ... two things that not very often go together ...
  16. Dont think that was the idea ...
  17. I did see somewhere in the hub shuttle services for sale by hubbers thats not using theirs ...
  18. I like good knobblies up front for extra grip on the singletracks through the plantations - the corners can be a bit wet'ish / slippery on some of the downhill sections
  19. You snooze you loose ... profile pic was super hot But was then changed to a more "conservative" version
  20. Schwalbe's Rock Razor is an important tire. No doubt half of you will stop reading as soon as we mention that it was developed from enduro racing, but bear with me. One of the best things about the discipline, is that companies are pushed on to develop products that are really very good out in the real world, and not just up in the rareified air of World Cup racing. Here in Europe, top enduro racers have been running semi-slick rear tires, like the Maxxis Larsen for a number of years. The logic is that if you have long transfers to tackle on the saddle, a fast-rolling rear tire helps you save precious energy for when the clock starts. Yet, there was always a big sacrifice, because for technical terrain, you had no tread to help you when things got ugly. That lead some clever folk at Schwalbe rethink the semi-slick tire saying, "Why can't we at least have tread on the side?" The result is the Rock Razor. 21. Not sure what you are doing wrong ... Ive been using it for the last month with no issues
