  4. I'm sure you will be fine, just get enough training in between now and then. Everyone seems to be scaring the crap out of you. Take it easy, enjoy the ride and most importantly have fun.
  5. The designing of it this weekend should keep me occupied
  6. Having now done some reading, it is to do with weight saving while maintaining the "rigidity" or "stiffness" of the rotors.
  7. So, I'm looking at making my own Indoor rollers or trainer stand, and was just wondering if any others have done the same thing? I have access to a lot of wood, ali and plastic so materials are not an issue. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Which is a better to use the rollers or trainer? I've had a look at a few ideas and they seem very, simple and easy enough too make. Here are a few ideas that I have found on the great interweb. http://www.instructables.com/id/Bicycle-roller-trainer/ http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Bike-Rollers/ http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Free-Motion-Cycling-Rollers/ http://adventure.howstuffworks.com/outdoor-activities/triathlons/training/bicycle-rollers1.htm http://www.instructables.com/id/Indoor-Bike-Trainer/

  12. Oh no, not at all. I've been ordering from CRC for years, even when I was living in the UK back in the early naughties, I has just never used the DHL route before, so when they called me it took me by surprise.

  14. Happy days to that Just the wheelset to come, looks like that will only be next week I reckon I can't really complain though as I've got a "freebie" Just amazed that it was here so quick, and it takes four days for a letter to get to Durban
  15. DHL parcel delivered already Only ordered these three days ago. Strange thing is they never asked for any money from me, I did meet them the courier in a dark alleyway
  16. +1 for the Post Office - Just get an old bike box from the LBS, make it fit the frame with lots of packaging and Bobs your uncle

  21. How annoying, Parcelforce are now two days behind the DHL chaps, I will have the DHL parcel tomorrow and only ordered on Monday I see now what that extra R150 handling fee get you. Just annoying that both parts of the same order never got sent at the same time via DHL

  25. One piece of advice I learnt quickly when riding a road bike is watch where your feet are when turning, your toes tend to catch the front wheel, otherwise you may come a cropper.
