So technically its not really mountain biking, maybe a new classification is needed?

Judging by the amount of people that had to get off at the technical bits during Sani and other events, is there not just an explosion of off-road riders/ dirt roadies as opposed to mountain bikers?

I've heard there are a few gripes from landowners & farmers about not being kept in the loop, some did not even know that there was an additional race added this year. There may/ may not be changes to next year as a result.

Thats the shop , they had a blue bike in the window that was so damn nice Is there a difference in names between using a MTB frame or road frame & what would be a better frame to build up.

The OP mentioned they his rotors looked to be attached to his rims, I asked if they were not in fact connected to his hubs, then he posted a pic and I confirmed they were indeed bolted to his hubs. Hence why I said go back and reread, capisce?

You won't be dissapointed with the XT brakes, I suggest that option, just cause I'm running them as well, with Ice-tech 160mm rotors front & back, haven't even thought of changing to a 180mm up front, they can stop on a dime. Your rotors look to be attatched to the hubs
