Any new stock thats not being shown on your website? I'm looking for a headlight spot for mounting with a strap or directly onto my helmet. There is a light, the Pyro 1100 what does it retail for? Is it better to have the light mounted on your forehead(will this get in the way) or better on your helmet? LED Lenser H7 Another question, are people generally using one battery for both a head light and your bar light or a battery for each?

So I had my first night ride last night and also enjoyed my first wipeout in a while with a trip over the bars. To say it was a jol is an understatement. I am only running a MagicShine MJ872 1600 lumens on my bar and need a headlight/ spot as well. This I feel was the reason I came off. What recommendations would you make in terms of lumens? Also I would like to get it the next week or so(or at least before next Wed) Is there a decent headlight that will come in for about R650 or less? I know I can order from Dealxtreme, but not keen on the 4-6week wait. Many Thanks

I can't understand why its a warrenty issue if the LBS cracked it themselves, did they admit liabilty? Count yourself lucky that you are getting it replaced through warrenty then.

So you don't check your frame on a regular basis?

So I ask the million dollar question, How certain are you that the frame was not cracked before you took it in for the service?

Should they not only be replacing the frame if they have cracked it, I for one would not be happy with a repaired frame or accept that as an option if it was not cracked when I took it in.

Or they could have dropped it?

How exactly did they say they cracked the frame after removing the BB?

Go and see the guy, talk it over and come to an arrangement.

I thought the OP's story was pretty clear, he took the bike in for repair/ service and the bike shop cracked the frame removing/ trying to remove the BB. They now want to possibly make a claim for something that may/may not be an actual warranty claim at all due to possible negligence on their part. What have I missed?
