Hi guys So, seeing lockup is extended, I want to do a fun build on an old steel frame. I had thought of singlespeed, but reckon 3 speed will be more practical. So, 42 or 52 chainring? And then I have a couple of old cassettes which I can strip for sprockets and spacers, so which 3 will be useful? Could I realistically set the limit screws on the derailleur for 3 sprockets? Would like to use a downtube shifter.. Any input appreciated
  8. We came up the M13 last Friday, was quite surprised to see a number of commuter cyclists between Kloof and Gillits area..
  9. Guys, Please recommend a bike shop in Hillcrest, that can help a friend with a tyre/tube issue tomorrow or Friday. Not high end. I would do it but not going to work timeframe/logistically.. Shot Rog
  10. Guys Anyone have experience with the BM10 mini cellphone, as an alternative to carrying a relatively heavy, large. desirable for theft smartphone whilst cycling, running etc? As in ease of use, quality of call, strength of signal reception etc.. Useful tool or cheap toy..? Shot Rog https://www.takealot.com/bm10-wireless-dialer-mini-phone/PLID54854567
  11. 10k.. I think your components are higher end than mine though.. Will definitely take for a more accurate valuation..
  12. Thanks guys, added telephonically yesterday.. Will take close pics for the records, and get stable to bike shop for proper values.. Thanks again for replies..
