I cant even get my tacx app to calibrate - you're in better shape than me .
I had same issue... after 10 min warm up it finally calibrates..
I listen to podcast all the time, but not live
For me it has to be convenient ...
So has to be on itunes, has to auto download from there and i just listen when i have time, have to be decent audio quality and has to be relatable ( updates every week or every month)
That being said, between the dc rainmaker on tech and the zwift podcasts on athletes and training my cycling needs are covered.
Any one here with multiple that can give me a proper real person view on a comparison?
Im a diamond vitality user and have been for years.
Get my gym in full via gym booster

People in Disc bank,

Going forward to get my woolies healthy food cash back, do i need to use the new disc credit card when it comes?
Gym cash back? Same story do i need to set debit order for gym to my new Disc one account?

Any other tips you have discovered whilst using bank?
Im obviously out of touch and a cheapskate..my idea of entry level is like 3 to 5 k
I would rather search for a good mid level aluminium bike like a Cannondale Caad with Shimano 105 drivetrain, even if it takes a while. You'll get it for reasonable money and not lose so much when you try to sell it, compared to buying cheap and nasty new. My 2c
Thanks, and what would a decent price be?
What would you recommend as a cheap entry level road bike.
Will be on a trainer 99.9% with maybe a 94.7 or argust once a year.
Please add a link and a rrp if you can.
And before you say classified:) im 186 so would need a 57 or 58 cm or large and dont see many of those especially not cheap.
Uhhmm...
Evobikes - R16995... https://www.evobikes.co.za/components/home-trainers/cycleops-h2-smart-trainer.html
Not sure where the "overpricing" comment comes from?
Kickr snap 2 as one example
2k overpriced
Evo bikes also running a special on the H2 - https://www.evobikes.co.za/components/home-trainers/cycleops-h2-smart-trainer.html
Evo bikes are overpriced looking at those specials...
Came from a wahoo kickr snap 2.
Want to upgrade to a wheel off but seems that all Taxc and cycle ops have vanished from stores? I only see wahoo online and stores?
Any one have info?
Let us know what Dragon says further. I've used AMS frame stickers and some clear vinyl to keep mine looking fresh
Pls pm me your details.. they asked for it.. or i will also pm you his email...
There is some mention of this on the MTBR forums for the blue bike. Three or four guys complaining about it. Mine has a couple of small chips: Back of the seat tube and on the linkage arms
ag nee man.....
Trance 2 2019 owners, any one here having paint chipping issues?
Mine seems to chip off to the bottom white paint at the slightest touch of a flicked stone.
DRAGONS ( Giant SA ) says im the only one with this problem.
PS this is the blue trance 2

Any one know if there will be day entries available? I need 3 for the 67km
Ok so sorta back to my q
Having a TruVativ Descendent 6k Eagle Dub, Boost crank
I then have to get a direct mount oval with 3mm offset - narrow wide?
Like so?
If my math is correct...
34-46 is a 1:0.74 ratio
36-50 is a 1:0.72 ratio, which is slightly easier than 34-46. But like bullet77 said, chainstay clearance could be a bigger issue.
What does that mean chain stay clearances?
Is it a boost bike or std chain line.
Keep the same size and oval if that's what you prefer. Not sure why you geared down to a 30 if you were using a 34 all along?
New bike and yes boost
Try adjusting the barrel ajusters
I have a TruVativ Descendent 6k Eagle Dub, Boost crank with 30 tooth. Back i have SRAM NX Eagle, 11x50.
My previous rig had a 1x11 with a xt setup and 11x46 in the back and a 34 oval front. Which i was planing to up to 36 as on gravel and some st i would run out of gear.
Im planning on changing the 30 in the front and am not sure if 36 oval is to big or 34 oval will be to small again as it was on my xt 1x11.
Or of it will be fine as i have the 50 in the back
Second part of the question, its a TruVativ Descendent 6k Eagle Dub, Boost crank, so i then should be direct mount with 3mm offset?
This race was badly organized..
Especially for those of us doing the shuttle.
Now past 8 we are still waiting for our bikes.
Water tables where poorly stocked for the distance we did, no directions at the end. Guess your way around then stand in a que to get a band to stand in another que to get a beer and order a burger to stand in another que to get the burger.
Riding it self was fine, enjoyed it.
Going to tackle this on a full rigid single speed MTB with a 32-15.
Not sure if this is out of bravado or stupidity. Probably both!
Just like a vegan
So... no news on a shuttle
