They are all the same, some people will try to make you belive otherwise.You buy it from China and put your own label on it. You do get quality stuff from China and then you get, well, you figure it out.

Its made in China, they use the cheapiest parts and labour. You realy dont think they gonna admit to it being unsafe and low quality. There are most likely thousands out there, just a pitty not all are on the Hub to tell there story.

True output on 900 lumens are about 600 and 1400 about 900 lumens.

Take for sample the 7 Weeks Poort MTB race. Why must i pay a R35 day license.CSA did not organise the race, one of the best organised races BTW. I paid my entry fee and that was it, i did not and will not pay the extra day license.

They are all the same, remember the magiclight are already a imitation on its owm from another light.

Well, just a quick survey showed 6 gone faulty with the Baviaans, thats only of some people on the hub, not to mention the people not on the hub. The only foot up in the @ss will be yours when your Magicshine fails on you.

I agree, they are bright, but we will se how many are still in working order a year from now. Remember these lights only came out this year.

Like i said,i'm not only talking about the Baviaans. But hey, between the 2 of us we already know about 5 that died.Does your roadside assistance include morning training rides aswell, thats were you dont want the light to die on you.

MorewoodMad, The local guy selling them are buing them from the same place the direct buyers are buying it from at half the price. They all came from the same factory and there are local sellers that will try to make you belive otherwise.

By died i mean broken, not battery life.

The Baviaans are just a sample, its in general.

We heard a lot about how good the Magiclight are. Lets hear the other side aswell.I myself know of 3 that died with the Baviaans.
