  1. Beautiful! Why would you want to change any of that? Unless... You go all the way, SRAM Red, DA 9000, Record/SRecord. Very expensive exercise.
  2. Chart is very small, but I always end up with the 4th one from top, 4th from left. Correct?
  3. Hi, This is different from what Hayseed has in the link. So I'm still confused. My current BB used with the Shimano crankset, does not work with the Campagnolo crankset. I can get whats in Hayseeds link for about R200 less.
  4. Thanks for the replies guys! Appreciated. LBS is useless. Won't mention names, but I knew that if I did not get the right person to talk to there, then I'll waste my time, which was exactly what happened. Checked out the link you sent and it has exactly the same BB I was referring to. Thanks. However, there are numerous options and I think the correct one is 86.5x41. Still don't know what the 41 is (yet).
  5. Can someone please confirm for me which BB I need to use on a Giant TCR Composite (PowerCore) with a Campagnolo Record Ultra Torque crankset (compact, not sure if this makes a difference). I currently have a Shimano Ultegra HollowTech 2 crankset (6600) with pressfit BB. From what I've learned this is referred to as a BB86, but I'm not 100% sure which BB to get and I can't afford buying the wrong BB. Also, I have outboard BB cups that I got with the crank and it has bearings with it. Can I use these bearings or do I have to buy other bearings too? This is what I have learned. BB86 (which is what Giant uses), Shell width 86.5mm, spindle diameter 24mm. It's confusing that it is also referred to as BB30 sometimes. So I found: Partnumber CPB005 Ultra Torque BB30 86x41. What is 41? Is this correct? During my research I also found that BB86 and BB30 loose their fit and has to be Loctite(d) 641. Any comments?
  6. ROFLOL! That Niner guy is hilarious! He took 3 minutes to say NOTHING. Blah! Blah! Blah! Proper salesman. Reminds me of Vince Vaughn in Internship. Very funny.
  7. A wholly lot of BS! We are not all idiots... Why not work with PPA? Why write them out of your constitution? Does PPA not give you a wack of our money? Do you not force us, even as funriders to pay a CSA day fee or annual fee? You hate PPAs power and that they don't bow before you. I bet CSA can stop the Cycle Tour from continuing if they wanted. Blackmail... Many of the 21000 members are forced to pay membership to enter events. There are just very little visible evidence of CSA trying to do their jobs. CSA will always have a smaller income if this continues. If UCI has a rule that prohibits Elite riders from competing in events that are not sanctioned by the National Federation and the National Federation is CSA, then CSA just has to sanction the event. Or am I pissing in the wind?
