what's the best way to keep a camelback bladder & pipe in pristine condition? miltons? sterident? store in freezer? all of the above? none of the above? what say the assembled brains trust?

I read in a mtb maintenance book to periodically remove the chain and clean it in diesel. Anyone tried this? Is it better/worse/same as paraffin? Or should one ignore all this stuff and sommer use clean green or equivalent?

I have been registered here for a while but have never posted before - so, so sorry that such a sad event is the cause of my first post. Having seen Ryan interviewed on tv a number of times, all I can say is what a tragic loss of such a fine young guy and a fine cyclist. Sincere condolences to his family, friends and BW teammates
