  2. Louis Garnou are good for R1500! full carbon sole and they leather! very good shoes!
  3. the crank removal tool will (after the bolt is removed) screw into the threads in the crank' date=' and push in on the bb axel, forcing it to go out. you can also try a bearing puller[/quote']That won't work if the threads are stripped. One way apparently is to loosen the crank bolt while the bike is still built up, and give it a couple of power sprints up and down the road. In my case, the bike was in pieces and i was prepared to sacrifice the old stripped ultegra crank. Well cant do that now cuz it has nothing only the frame and cranks!
  4. Ya I do have the crank removal tool but its probably for campy cuz i have campy! ya i tried it and treads didnt match! ok Thanks so il just take it to the shop!
  5. LOL!!! Nice smiley's! well done Nellie
  6. Haha ya I did that just put it on for the picture so you can see! I think it might just need a fat hammer put to it but just want to make sure im doing it right.
  7. You go from pretty much sea level all the way up to that tower on the top its like a 1km ascent in in 10.5km! It gets very steep! only problem is you cant do it on your road bike!
  8. Hey im busy taking my moms steel Peter Allen frame apart to get it sandblasted and given some new paint! I took everything off today but I honestly have no idea how to get these cranks off! My modern ones just slip off with a little tool i got but these don't! do they have a tread? Does anyone know how to get them off? Thanks
  9. Wow thats terrible! I don't know what I would do without cycling! Its the only sport apart from running that im good at.
