I was in Qatar in 2006 and things were really cheap there but we were in Dubai in 2010 and everything there was more expensive than here!!!

Has anybody done a 75km Sabie Classic before where they never just climbed for the first 30km? Is it the 2100m of climbing, or the fact that they never bother to change the way the race goes up for 30km and up and down for the remaining 45km that is irritating some people?

I agree, are they scared that the extra 3g of empty packaging will slow them down.... I even see it on my mtb route, gel sachets and energade bottles.
