  1. I have both of these units. I am planning on doing a comparison next week between these and the wahoo. Stay tuned.
  2. OH yeah, it's real. There are a few different flavors too! And Fridays we get cake and doughnuts.
  3. Suppose you have time to kill or spend reading threads (which, by the comment section, looks like we all find some time during the day), check out this video from Flow MTB. They explain the suspension very well and compare it to the Supercaliber. There is a better description in the article, also noted below. Once you get past the initial reaction of how the bike looks compared to others, there is a world of differences that makes it unique. Yep, I work at Specialized, but the aim here is not defending similarities and trying to convince you that it is different, I will let the guys point those out. I found the video and article informative and brought some perspective to a comparison based on speculation and first visual impressions. https://flowmountainbike.com/tests/specialized-epic-world-cup-review-2023/
  4. My 8yo daughter has access to bicycles. She got one before she was born and ever since then she had great bikes and access to new bikes. She is pretty fortunate (so are we) but what I would say here is that kids choose to ride or not. Some days she looks at the bike and does not want to get on it. other days she is stoked to ride, albeit only around the block before returning home. She currently has the 24' Riprock with 'fatty' style tires and the 24' Riprock with the rigid fork as in the OP's original question. Some days she choses the pink one and other days the green one, but she doesn't know or truly understand the difference, which there are plenty. What it comes down to in my opinion is buying your kid a bike that they want to ride, because that is the one that will get them riding. It might be the 2k Makro bike or the 14k bike but I would buy the one that they love at this age. And yeah I do work for a bicycle brand and have access to product, but I have learned that until the day she decides she wants to race a bike, I am not going to convince her to ride by buying her the product that I believe is the best. My 2c, sorry I did not answer your question.
  5. I enjoyed today's highlights, hope you do too. the light was so beautiful early morning. What a great day of racing in both categories.
  6. I totally agree, but in our case (Specialized Racing) with the limited time and focus, we are dedicated to telling the story from inside our camp. I like the idea and will brainstorm to see how we can incorporate this in future. If you have any good ideas, would gladly hear them. thank you for the comment.
  7. Stage 4 highlights.
  8. If you have anything specific you want to see from the team or behind the scenes, let me know. we have 3 more videos to make it happen.
  9. I think you are going to enjoy your new bike. I ride a normal epic with a brain and took out the Epic Evo out for a few rides and I really enjoyed the ride. Post pics after you get your bike today
  10. Hey, where do you get the decals made? Thanks
  11. You should have tested all the tires on the same wheels to have the best comparison re acceleration, road feel etc, but that is just my uneducated opinion
  12. If you really want to print one, let me know and I can send you the high res..
  13. Hi Ttocs. Could you send me an email johan.badenhorst@specialized.com I would love to better understand your situation and help resolve it. Thank you.
  14. ya especially the guy that won the silver No one was ever going to beat Nino. He was destined to win that race
  15. Its certainly going to be a good race, however I personally think Gaze will be mixing it up with the likes of Schurter, Absalon and Kulhavy at the front and Andreassen, Hatherly and Reid will be mixing it out for the top 15. One thing is for sure. This is one of the most highly anticipated races of the past 4 years! Having Sagan there is also killer for the sport.
