B..B...BUMP Someone out there with a throwaway BB?

Hi Hubbers I made a bit of a blunder as I re-installed my XT crankarm into my serviced external BB and damaged the plastic washer/seal. Does anyone have an old Shimano BB or a plastic washer they are wanting to get rid of? Would be much appreciated, explained my case to my LBS mechanic and he disapprovingly told me the BB is not servicable and that there are no such parts available, but I know TheHub will prove him wrong I am also looking for an old axle, merely need the washers from that; neither LBS nor Mica could help me. My rear tyre is hitting the frame due to the wheel being off-centre, I need at least 1 washer to correct it. I am willing to pay cash too Thanks

What do you think of this? It's my reliable chromoly Cosmos road bike with 9 speed Shimano 105/Tiagra. Don't know anything about the frame, please let us know if you do.

Hello Hubbers Can you recommend a powdercoater in Cape Town? Do you have any experiences with Cape Powdercoating in Paarden Island? What should I expect to pay to get a frame bead blasted and powdercoated in matt black? Thanks

Just over R10k I think, sold my dual suspension to finance this. I'm hoping that all will go accordingly with my super reliable XT crankset, steel frame and Rockshox Reba Team fork... happy with the end product!

It's an oscillating BB barrel so I can adjust the tension of the chain, a beauty of a design - I can change rear sprockets too without having to shorten the chain.
