  1. B-E-A-U-TIFUL! - Love the black and white, and the subtle touch of red on the wheels. Awesome ride Sonic, what does this beast weigh?
  2. Glad to see you are passing on my wisdom Pickles
  3. Mampara' date=' that is my Baby and she is not wierd, she is wonderful.(OK, she does look a bit strange), I call her Muckcedes, she has full air suspension and XT all round.(excellent ride quality and doesn't hurt my bionic back at all)[/quote'] Bionic man, please can you post some pics of your machine.
  4. That's it! Now we getting some serious contenders.
  5. If your friend is very generous, he will 'give it to you' for R20k, that is one mad ride.
  6. That's it Pantani!
  7. I think you will be surprised if you have a look at the bikes some of the Juniors have. I think uncle Chrispy has a pretty good idea... anyhow - Peez@'s bike gets my vote for hottest junior bike! (haha...sounds like something that needs training wheels!) I second that, Peez that's one sweet blinged up ride!
  8. I was commenting on 'her' bike.
  9. Yes, go with the Gatorskinz. I know someone who got about 9000km out of them without a single puncture.
  10. I like this one, but I am sure it is not designed for the illustrated purpose!
  11. New bike prices are horrendous when you compare to what you can get second hand. I was very fortunate to land myself a new Cannondale Caad4 frame with 9 speed Dura Ace for R4500. That was a bargain, but there are bargains out there if you look hard enough. Try www.gumtree.co.za too.
  12. Where is the proof?!
  13. A moment not to be forgotten soon Interesting to see how many 'Guests" are online though?!
  14. Johan, do you know what ever happened to the production of the ceramic Mavic Open Pro rims? I heard they were exceptional.
  15. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=17152 CXP33 claimed weight 470g.
  16. Lew rims and Tune hubs could possibly be the lightest build, but that's a bit off topic. I also owned a pair of CXP33 rims, had no hassles there. If you were looking for training wheels, the CXP30 would probably be the best rim available, not that there are any available... such a pity.
  17. GT, you should see their 2009 bikes, they are creamy.

  19. He wants a 'bling' saddle, I think the Phenom will be too 'fugly' for him. It is not a bad saddle by any means or a bad looking saddle at that, but does not have the looks of the likes of the Prologo, Fizi'k and Selle Italia. The Specialized Toupe is more what he is after I think, or am I wrong Desmond? On that note, I recommend you consider the Toupe, Specialized have a very useful body geometry innovation, and you can choose the saddle that best suits your geometry. The Toupe comes in different widths to accomodate for all shapes and sizes, you can choose the size which suits you best. Plus its one of the best looking and most competitively priced saddles on the market.
  20. That's a real beauty!
  21. What do you mean "yet" Dil ' date=' you will never have a picture of your bike on the couch Dylan mom is a school teacher and clearly knows what you kids get up to at the best of times. [/quote'] Too true So wise!
  22. I think he is suggesting you are not professional and do not spend 6 hours on the bike a day, so he has a point.
  23. I don't have any couch photos of the bike yet. http://photos-993.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v333/26/108/528731993/n528731993_1270539_506.jpg Specs: Cannondale Caad4 Aluminium 56cm Shimano Dura Ace 9 speed American Classic/Campagnolo Shrada 36spoke wheelset
