No, if you don't get your Logwood cards to the Bryanston Park on the 7th or 8th, they'll be useless. If you do get them there, you get 50% off the same card/plate at the Bryanston park. Selective reading sucks eh?

I think the guys that work there still have a bit of work ahead of them. The park will need to be broken down, all the bridges etc disassembled. But yes, they do need to know sooner rather than later.

I have to agree with you on this one. That didn't stop me from driving there weekend after weekend, sometimes on Saturday and Sunday, to do some riding. Tearing through Inner Circle as fast as I could manage, cornering like mad, with a pain in my side and my lungs burning was my little bit of Zen. Approaching those steep ups in Sugarbowl, knowing that my legs have nothing left, yet having to push with all my strength to make sure I get all the way to the top, hitting the drop afterwards, smiling from ear to ear, only to make a few turns and do it again... Logwood was the first place I went riding. Not one of the first, but THE first. The 'Goose was brand new, my shoes as well. I didn't even have padded shorts yet. I decided to pop a wheelie, and when it went sour I couldn't unclip. I fell my ass off, and laughed so hard I couldn't breathe (maybe that was from the crash?). That place holds many, many good memories. While I have been guilty of not going to Logwood since the new park opened (it's RIGHT behind my house, so who can blame me), I'm very sad to see it go.

Why do you need discs so badly? V-brakes, if setup correctly and with the right pads are also very good. Otherwise, there was a pair of Magura Gustavs for sale not long ago. They're quite old, but that would also make them cheep-cheep.

Does a magnet stick to the spokes? As far as I remember, stainless steel is not magnetic. That would be the easy way to check.

Anyone know where I can buy polyurethane sheets? I'm looking for a fairly soft compound, somewhere between 80A and 95A. The reason? Apparently polyurethane makes for great brake pads in the Magura HS33's. You just cut it to size and insert it into the backing and viola!

At 55kg rather get a rigid carbon fork and a fatter front tyre. Save yourself 1kg at least! Once you reach 70kg we can talk about 80mm suspension, and once you reach 85kg we can talk long travel.

I think it would be a good idea to import a basket of commonly needed parts and resell them here. Even at second-hand prices you'll make enough money back to cover whatever you ordered for yourself.
