nope, from someone that was there... everyone rode in a group, following the road. usually the path has a natural flow to it and everyone just carried on up to the gate, there the marshall told us that we missed the split and that it is the 40km straight ahead, alot of people was already on the other side and riding the 40... so we turned around and went back to the "split" there the whole group devided into two again as no one was sure which path to take.. and of course no marshall... some guys tried to "backtrack' riding the opposite direction of the arrows... so they might have added a whole lot more km's to the ride eventually ended up back at the finish.. a point to note is... nobody gives a crap about the 20km. it is a fun race. So why should one go through all the hassle of getting n race number/board? the seeding system is also pointless as everyone is started in a bunch. I understand some of the youngsters take a real dig at it etc.. but still! if it is for them comptetitors to get a feel for it, start it then by seeding order! i am also sure there must have been a couple of concerned parents out there waiting for kids to finish not knowing they were on the 40km?

hi guys, I am thinking of getting one of the Thule towbar mounted bike racks.. now with the entry level models, you fix the pedals to the U-bar mounted in the middle of rack. Does this setup put stress on your crank or pedals/bearings or anything like that? thanks

maybe we should show them the pictures of the family that was quad biking in samrand.. think it was the uncle (with helmet) that gave a laatie a lift. as they drove a wire spanning across the little dirt road caught the driver and skimmed off and over his helmet, struck the younger guy in the face and tore his jaw bone off.. they did not realise this until they got to unitas and the doc asked for it!

hi BeOne, there are funny rules with steriods and stuff and basically the law is more in favour of the criminal again. at our local gym there is a guy selling all sorts o sht to people, especially school kids. The personal trainers and other gym staff had trown him out before, but they can't deny him access to the gym. The trainer then told me about the relaxed law that we have and that their hands are basically tied..
