so, not to hijack Stev0's topic. Wes got me thinking that I am not to old for downhill Talking to bike shops, they recommend spending 20k on proper dh bike. that is a bit much.. so to investigate other options: the "all mountain bike" is a myth. any jump, or big rock or similar requires a very low seat height, otherwise the seat kicks you over the bars. you need a high seat for XC for proper leg extension and comfort. so just taking those two factors into account it is not possible. right? so is the only option then a soft-tail with a seat drop device?

I carry my phone in a water proof, crash proof container. you can get them from due south for r120. bit bulky, but good for cellphone and cash. you can donner of right on your back in the river and it will survive.

hi, I am looking at getting either one to train with at home. Can any one please shed some light as to which is the better option? so far I reckon the indoor trainer is closer to the real thing, but it can damage your tires.. the spinning bike is less hassle but you need to train more?

very informative post, thanks, I found that taking taking a bump at the right speed basically results in the seat kicking you up and over, and it will be nice to drop it for some technical descents BUT as mentioned at 2k a pop it is a bit pricey for something that you don't use every day.

hi guys, quick question on Q20, I use it to lube small bits and pieces on my bike. If I spin my pedal it made no noise, give it a squirt of Q20 and spin it again, then out sounded as if it is grinding sand... could it be that is draining away grease and leaving dirt?

I posted it as I was unhappy with a product, now I am not super knowledgeable on all things cycling.. someone corrected me about the swelling and I got a tip to get rid of the stain in the camelback. Also, some people said they like pvm.. cool..lekker, we all have different views. yep, genuine cambelback, brand new too. never had anything else in it.. so maybe I got special witblits batch any way, true not all genetics are the same.. but I am plenty more pro 32gi from now on

so was stuck in nelspruit when the 32GI got finished... now I must say that I got pretty bored with how 32GI fixes babbelaas and gives you endurance for infinity and all that BUT I like that it does not taste funny, accumulate spit nor is it too sweet. Any case, so off I go to the pharmacy to buy some more, and unfortunately they don’t stock 32GI, no problem, gym gorilla tunes me about pvm and how awesome it is etc. Tried it out and there is a couple of things that is just not on. 1- Stained my camel back. (ps: would anyone know how to remove drink type stains on the inside?) 2- It is sweet, taste like casting sugar mixed with game which makes you accumulate saliva 3- Wife forgot the remainder in her camelback overnight, next morning the whole bag was swollen and it looked like it is going to explode! 4- Mix ratio is 5 scoops to 500ml water. So not quite efficient as the 1kg tub won’t last long All in all just an absolutely K@K product. Went to discem to get some good ol 32GI again but thought I would warn fellow hubbers
