what about the xtr derailleur breaking the second day on pe2plett that's def not wear and tear?

we did the pe2plett two weeks ago..but the problems started at Tour of legends already which was mid august my bike 4 months old other SW 2 months old

also broke the derailleur off completely at the Pe2Plett... are XTR derailleurs really that fragile?

beginning to think i paid for a dud I rode a 40k bike before the SW and never changed the BB in 5 years

wonder if that shimano BB will fit the SW frame

brand spanking new bike just think its ridiculous to charge R120 per bearing and i need to get 8 for the pivot alone...

the rear cable has also been changed this bike is costing me a fortune. i just dont know how a BB and pivots can only last for 2 months

question to all SW specialists out there I need to replace the bearings for the BB and pivot on my SW (after only having the bike for 2 months...sounds a little ridiculous) can anyone tell me if I can just use the normal R10 bearings from The Bearing man or do I have to pay R120 for one bearing because it is specialized?

the bottlenecks were quite frustrating. walking over that bridge (think day 2)...was horrible this race has so much potential..maybe farmer Glen should go and give them a hand

Not enough water points. distances not as advertised...results very sketchy on 1st day. way too many district roads. 2showers for all the women...mmm not nice at least there were 10 minutes on each stage of some breath taking scenery. this was tough...and we apparently did the easy one...good luck for next year..its basically a mini epic will we be back...i doubt it we have so many stage races in this country, surely mike and his team could have taken some notes from them anyways..rant off. good luck to them for next year
