question..if I use a personal mechanic and something goes wrong...for instance...damages the frame trying to get BB out...will my insurance pay out as he isn't associated with a bike shop?

I am buying a complete bike from a distributor. the bike will cost me 4500Euros. I have asked the distributor to strip the bike and ship as seperate items what will my total cost be on duites and VAT?

Took the bikes back, was VERY nice to them. They rebled the brakes... And yaaaayyy... My brakes are back and working as before!!!

have done two two hour rides now and still no braking power. pull the lever in completely and the bike will still not come to a complete stop. so now tell me...they didn't work on the brakes....I paid for a full service and the bike is worse off than when I took it in. we "transport" the bikes by taking off the front wheels...have done this a million times, so this is seriously not the problem

Paid R650 for a Hardtail and just over R700 for the Dual Suss

they didn't replace the bearings, but I can hear they are getting quite noisy again..which can only mean one thing..time to replace AGAIN..so maybe they touched it and saw it had to be replaced but didn't say anything....

so the bike shop reckons they haven't touched the brakes or the brake pads.....??? weird as I had perfectly working brakes and now nothing....and this on TWO bikes INSANE
