The 3 Mountains Challenge is a multi-stage MTB Cycling event, that will be presented to the cycling community by Afri-Cycle Tours in conjunction with the Clocolan cycling community. This exciting event will take place from 20 to 23 March 2014 in and around the beautiful town of Clocolan in the Free State. Entries Close: 8 March The event will cater for all levels of expertise by providing different routes and distances to select from. The organizers will also provide a category for U/16 and Juniors to compete in their respective age groups over 4 stages. The race is split into 3 different categories. A, B and C categories. Category A: for those competing in the long distance 70-80 km per day (Expert) Category B: for age group cyclists, U/16 and Juniors 40-50 km per day (Expert) Category C: for all fun riders 40-50 km per day (Novice) In the Main race (Category A) there will be three different competitions: -Best Team Competition -Best Solo Male -Best Solo Female In the shorter race (Category B and C) there will be four different competitions: -Best Junior(u/18) Male -Best Junior(u/18) Female -Best u/16 Male -Best u/16 Female Race Package!!! 4 Stages Supper after stage 1 Lunch after Stage 2,3,4 Race T- Shirt Photo DVD Goody Bag Well serviced water points.
