Hi Hubbers, I know a lot of you are in the process of trainning for the 94.7 cycle race. There is a lot of info on the physical training side but not much about the nutritional side. Do any of you have some usefull info on this subject?

This is my baby...she scares me sometimes...

R18K...but it came with a differet shock than the one its suppose to come with. The Magura is still a great shock so its all good...Not sure what the actual retails price is...

Apparently Magura have a new agent in SA and they are pretty jacked...so i'm not too worried about that...

I was fortunate enought to be able to buy a Ghost HTX Actinum 9000. Got the bike on Saturday and only had a "real" ride on it on Monday morning. Corning is it may sound to many but I have to say this...there are no words to discribe how this bike feels, rides, performes and most of all delivers!!! I attached a pic for those who have not seen one before... All i can say is this: She Haunts Me...(and how glad i am she does...)

I must say, it was a fantastic event. I did not quit expect the rout to be that tough but i really enjoyed it at the end. The giraffe incident was crazy, about 8 of them came running down the hill and just ran everything (trees bushes ect) out of their way. The must have been frightened or something but that was a tense moment... That mine dump was no pleasure either, but thinking back about it now just makes me smile and shake my head... Good one to the organizers, i'll be joining you on the next one, that's for sure!!!
