  2. Definitely is a limit, and not too light. I was under the impression it is also 6.8kg. Was weighed pre competition last year and had to replace spoked wheel with a disc to get the bike to the weight limit smitvanzyl2009-11-13 04:34:00
  3. Post edited - I would appreciate help = if they can offer more than basic first aid which should be nearly compulsory for all mountainbikers
  4. IMO most important would be to get somebody with experience. You can pay a lot for a doctor, but without trauma experience he would not be better than an experienced ALS/ATLS paramedicsmitvanzyl2009-11-03 06:33:42

  6. Good to meet you Shortlegs - and here is one for you just before the big attack
  7. What a job a urologist must be...I mean come on.. who wants to check balls all day?
  8. Not related to the seat - it's a genetic 'deformity' that 'allows' the rotation - sort of. I'll recommend an op though - that stitching to the sac thing. You can maybe afford losing one, but losing both to the same ailment makes for bad bedtimes
  9. I'm here! Rides are definitely not exclusive . Give me a pm and I'll let you know which groups are riding. You are, of course also welcome to join me. Most will be racing at Eiland (about 100km away). smitvanzyl2008-09-03 22:49:59
  10. Condolences to the family and friends - bucc's think bike campaign made life safer on both versions of the 2 wheeled vehicles. Saddened by this. SP - join us on the WR250's
  11. Dunno either - you are the expert . Someone said it's all about Power 2 Weight. (I'm bad in one of the categories - guess which one). You could always spice up the discussion and bring in Power vs. CdA, Crr and draw nice graphics, but already saw you were dissed a bit on being too detailed in the discussions. Anyhow, you apparently can't use the left side if the right side isn't up to scratch!
  12. It's always great to see those stats, but it's really depressing for me to see just how much the more normal (normalised!) cyclists (myself included) are lacking.
