  1. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEzzzzzzz Louise WTF Tried to put a new back wheel on today, just to feel what the difference would be, as I ride the same area on most occasions. The tyre was given to me bye a freind and I did not think to check if there would be a size issue. Some thing was wrong, im covered in stans goooo, and the old tyre is back on the rim. Time too help the noob Went from a geax sanguaro to a kenda small block. The only difference I could pick up was this; geax is 56-559 kenda is 59-559 Would this be the reason my wheel began to ooooozzz like a snail when he runs into a bit of salt, or do I suck at fitting
  2. This just floats my boat. Dont know if I am touched or a bit out of date. F your opinion any way, download a good copy of this find a hill and let me know what happened. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTj4XDKXK_g&feature=related Some music has the right kind of frequency or something. This is either special or my kind of frequency
  3. Hey all Havent been on the hub for a while, so dont know wether this stuff has come up recently or not? Bit of a noob to MTB, and have been struggling to keep my chain and all the rest clean with out decreasing it to the extend that when the bike stands for a couple of days the drivetrain and all the rest begin to rust. Nothing like a sea breeze to get the corrosives exited. Any how, stumbled across the purple extreme the other day. http://www.purpleextreme.com/ Works wonders to clean the chain. And once clean it's ready to ride. Take the chain off the bike. Give it a good scrub with a bit of dishwash liquid. Rinse and let it dry. Hold it from the one end in the air, apply the purple stuff from the top and let it run down the chain(works best if chain has been standing in sun for a while). Run chain through your hands to spread the purple extreme and loosen any remaining grit. Take a clean rag and pull chain through it. Let me know what you think. Ive seen the light. Sounds like you use a lot, but Ive hardly made a dent in my 120ml bottle. A little goes a long way. Used about one tenth of the bottle so far. All the other stuff I have tried works well, but realy gunges up all my components, and is hard to clean off. All the best Pedal forever

  6. Is there an app similar to a car GPS that can download a route that you have not ridden and guide you along as you ride it? For example say i wanted to ride a route I have no ridden before, but I have found it on one of the above mentioned sites. I would then like to download it to the app and have it guide me along such a trail whilst i am riding it, or use it as a reference if i thought i had taken a wrong turn, by being plotted on the route i have downloaded.
  7. Am I wrong in saying that the elevation is in feet not meters. The 32km race starts at 900ft and peaks at 1900ft making it a 1000ft / 330m elevation. Total of the four main ascents would be 1950ft / 650m????
  8. Like you looking for a luck...............you should be telling me. Never now maybe you'll get it right first time.
