Happy I went the 26er conversion route for a gravel bike... the mixed reaction was a huge no go for me

See you from port alfred. Get a gravel bike.... 180k will get you something that is insanely good with 2 wheelsets. I live in the area. And the lack of road riders and decent groups to ride with was a big reason I tossed the road bike and ride 95% gravel bike and explore the many miles of farm roads and ride the beach on it when it comes to service time

Chat to csixx.... they can produce a ring you need.... Honestly run a sram force 1x 50t with a 12 speed 11-50 sunrace cassette.... Only upgraded internals with a ratio 12speed kit.... kept the standard derailleur..... Shifts great... Good climbing gear and enough top end to sit with roadies. Can eventually get a 12 speed road cassette and wheelset for road ride

Just looked intriguing those first few images on this bike. Nude frame with carbon fork. Thought hmmmm could be a cool n+1 got a sick cross bike and mtb amd ebike. Wanted to have a steel allroad do it all bike. Got a few 27.5 wheels and 29er wheels so thought could be a cool project. Currently abit hesitant....q

This bike is very appealing lately... ticking the right boxes. Only curious has anyone built a racier spec of these???? Carbon fork? Sram etap? And light wheels?

Maybe try put some faster rolling tyres on... the tyres are over tyred for the region. But a 140mm travel ht with some reckon race or icons? Will make that bike rallye around those trails

Cape epic lost all appeal... as a company they have no back bone stating lifetime ban on convicted dopers..... yet allowing them to race.... why have set rules when not following through with them? Or is it just an eye blinder????

Contamination in products are very rare but plausible. Anyone see recalls on products for glass in a batch(kit kat at the moment) or past the best before date ingredients put in??? Small chance of it happening but does happen Graves is a beast of a guy. P.s anyone see the great performance of Kevin Evans in p.e 2 plett.... well done to the organisers for upholding there own rules....

Whats the point of having these rules when the organisers and race refs allow these okes to ride... many others slip through with little notice.... Sadly the sport is a mess from the federation to organisers. To the "professionals" to the schools league where kids get sold a dream of being the next Hatherley or stander if they do well in it... with no infrastructure to organically take these juniors to elite no varsity leagues just a champs and no club level racing or intermediate level for the step up to the u.s.a or Europe... So kids and parents start trolling sites looking for a wonder drug they can get a prescription for or OTC... micardis comes to mind (same mechanism of action as a aicar and a gw50156 and totally legal, or the famous disprin during a tt to take the edge off more placebo but works. What about taking some muscle relaxants and ibuprofen during a race thats legal and common practice amongst pros. I knew a guy who had 2 via viagras a day while racing elites....) Doping is not clear cut. You have a system and the sad part is it filled with loopholes cracks and miss information... you have a congestion take some decongestant thats green on the list makes you feel great so that athlete Continues to use it as he can now breathe easier... ends up moving to the next step how to push his limits more pain blockers.... next phase of his evolution strength or blood boosting or weight cutting (just hypothetical)
