if you combine a 9 speed rear derailleur with 10 speed shifters do you still get 10 speed?

I agree, I have a stiff carbon fork but my steel frame makes the ride a pleasure. The bonus with the STR is that the bike is really not heavy at all.

that frame is just incredible. please send us a pic from behind the seat tube. I would love to see that top tube in all its intricate glory.

Hi Chaps The n+1 rules doesn't apply to the poor so no. I have a 2 bike limit. I want to build a cyclocross bike once funds become available. If I sell the Momsen I would be able to build one up. I am still in two minds. I have bought a cyclocross frame. I am in no rush.

ALMS I love that frame. On a sad note, I am considering selling my Momsen STR . If any of you are keen let me know. Its a 19 inch medium.
