It's crazy the price of bikes......... Best is to see the newbie's on these 50k bikes battling along. Never mind the bikes, cycling kit, shoes for example over 3k....

My complaining, about the I start A Mr. Henk van der Sijde, started in I and finished 14th overall. So can be done..... Stuck with him until concrete road and lost sight him up the first section. Battled with passing the porters, which i also joined the club... for the rest of the single track / river crossings I battled to be honest, last turn after the greek hill.

Will do, should have thought prior to the race. Did all have a good safe race?

Also got the Hakahana medals, 70 and also in the 20km.

2nd above Amazing route! Once again, compliments to the organizers!

In group I.......... approx: 750 hundred odd bikes ahead of me, going to be a day of passing and bottlenecks knowing most of the route...... van Gaalens Durbanville Hills Race the Rhino 2012 50km Rained, mud, mud, mud and more mud, did a 2:35ish (after hitting the wall at approx 38km) Doing a rain dance on Friday night................. people get scared, Saseeding time going for a ball of #@%$& with this race. propbably better to bail (DNF) than get a bad result! Seeding is ***! first Nissan Trailseeker, no too keen to enter more after this experience, thus far. See after sat. Grumpy!

Careful in regards to the Jacaranda Classic........ getting to the Trail Seeker To help planning routes to get to VG or allowing sufficient time to wade thru the bikes starting at just after 6! Sorry to Say Sawdust, I had a similar experience with CRC and using DHL. Got some wise comments from the"experts on the site" Took over 5 weeks to get from CRC. Complained and to date have not had a response from them. This was the second order with CRC. Stick to the states sites, arrive on time and NEVER have had any such issues! Order all the time. Mountain biking and all Enduro parts and kit..... Fact that no reply after sales service ! Shame!

Just a word of warning, recently ordered from Chain Reaction Cycles... What a nightmare!!! :thumbdown: 1st: Charged for transport (Ordered more than the R3000.00 / qualifying for Free Shipment as advertised on their site) 2nd: DHL costs and CRC costs do not compare / marry as invoiced. 3rd: No response to emails requesting answers from CRC. 4th: Goods have been in Bondage, in SA since the 28th Jan 2011. 5th: Upon given up as I need the items, have waited almost 2 weeks having given DHL authorisation to release and deliver Lesson Learn't
