Gents…I’m baffled by this !! Lets say Joe is a extreme good cyclist and not interested in riding as a elite/pro or whatever cyclist….maybe his got a day job does pays him well. And on the day he starts in say the “D” group and ride the living grap out of his group and also do the quickest overall time for the day. Surely he should be declared the overall winner for the day ???.....or doesn’t it work like this ???

Need some advise please, I did the BMW Auto Alpina road race in Nigel on Saturday. My feet underneath hurts like hell especially the left one, a lot of effort was put into my pedalling due to the wind and climb on the return (did the 60km) leg of the race. Is this due to the SPD’s on my road bike and the fact that I'm riding with MTB (Shimano spd) shoes ?.

I’ve got a stack full of old bicycle magazines (Last 3 years) ie: Ride, Bicycle, Tread etc for free to any Hubber or newbie youngster on the cycling seen. To be collected in Benoni, PLEASE don’t ask me to post it !!.

What a great race at Carnival city yesterday.....just a pity that some roadies are plain “Litterbugs”.......chucking your empty “GUE” packed or dumping water bottles close to the finish line is not on. I do road as well as MTB and I can say that the littering is far less in mountbike races than in road races. Take your empty’s home and through it in the bin and lead by example.....keep road cycling clean !!

Had a look at the results....said I did not finish the race ?? The bloke sitting on his a@@ at the finish line never clocked me......##@#$@%&!!. Still think it was a great race !

What a lekke race....enjoyed the mud big time !!! Pity the can’t install a few walk thru’ showers with all the money they made yesterday !!! luckily we had the spruit to take a dip in.

I run the same rims...you need the BONDRAGER plastic liner that fits inside the rim. The problem now is that there is no stock for the 29er Rhythm rims...so I was told by Cycle Lab. They supplied me with the wrong liners....they only got for the 29er Race lite rims and they to narrow.

Is the sealant called “ stans sealant” and how much sealant would one put into a 29er wheel ?.

You got to measure your sit bones....the saddle you wanne buy measure 142 mm. I bought the lady's "VITESSE" Fizik saddle....measures 155 mm and it works great for me !!

Ice it boet !! At least 20 min at a time.

Cramps, cramps and more cramps..... My dreams to do a sub 4 with yesterdays 94.7 was ruined by cramps and turned into a 6 hour nightmare !! I drank 500ml of liquate every 30min and crampstops by the hour and still it did not help !!!. Surely there must be a deficiently in one’s body to cause this problem.....can this be detected by blood test? Has any Hubbers out there done this or found a true cure for cramps ?

Thanks, Jip it seems to be a problem……I’ve got a hole range of saddles at home…all to narrow ! Even the new one I'm keen on will then be to narrow.
