  1. finally received the last bits, so after a year, she's ready to roll http://i41.tinypic.com/35mp6qs.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/1zq3238.jpg
  2. brilliant, glad to see these being done.
  3. rather refreshing look at the pack mentality. http://youtu.be/GMCkuqL9IcM http://youtu.be/1KTEgLKhjIw
  4. totally different to the biopace rings (which i too rode back then). A few reviews can be found here and here) have been riding them for about 1000 km's and whilst you don't necessarily notice the design, my usual leg-killing climbs/rides don't seem to have the same fatigue effect as before. the pedal motion, for me and i guess this is a key point to make here, works well and i enjoy being able to spin at 115+ now without the same lumpyish feel whilst on the record cranks. it's true, they are very popular here in the uk. they work with any crank setup, even your compacts, without the need to buy the rotor cranks (which are very nice!) no, im not employed by them, just enjoy their products

  8. who said an older steel frame doesn't work well with newer gruppos? http://prollyisnotprobably.com/2011/06/13/IMG_8290.jpg
  9. Before I leave these sunny shores for good, I fancy doing the meander. Anyone ridden the nottingham road before? is it worth doing or are there other hidden road routes in that area?
  10. will be picking this up in london later on today, still not 100% sure what I want to do with it but just caught my eye http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5064/5703674215_20341293be_z.jpg
  11. It's not the best feeling. After countless phone calls, it does seem that once the bag was entered onto the system at ORT, that was the last time it was seen. Now it's pretty obvious what the contents are, so i'm sure some charming person decided to nationalise me from the bag and here's hoping he becomes another statistic shortly. Now we play games with the insurance company
  12. Some greedy african **** will steal at the slightest opportunity. Bike bag was checked-in at ORT, onward to Munich and the bag never made it to the plane. it is now awol and nowhere to be found in SA. Shock horror!! one missing eddy merckx and tommasini.
  13. I'm chilled but seriously being an average adult weight does not make one fat guy asked for advice and that comment was out of order. period.
