  1. Sounds like chaos at the race. I was in group CL, we caught VP and then the back of BL. Time for CL was fater than the time for BL. What happened to the correct seeding? I mean, this is a seeding race for next years Argus! WTF - some guys races like hell now and does no training for next years Argus (2012) and is then seeded in B and gets dropped and gets in the way of the other groups. Seeding for races should be effective immediately, just like the handicap system in golf. And what give with starting a VIP group with the fast riders. Just cause thay want to start early..... really not a good idea. When we caught VP the group was way to big and VP guys did not want to drop back to keep the VP group as one. Besides all that, WTF is up with guys taking their water bottle and then stretching their arm out before drinking. And then doing the same when replacing the bottle in the cage? in a race I really do not want to know when you are taking a drink. Some guy nearly knocked me off my bike when he stuck his arm out with the water bottle into my face. Anyhow, I had a great ride. Thanks guys.
  2. D group for me. Hope there is no wind this year!
  3. So this means that New Zealand will never win the RWC again. Cool for SA. Always will we be RWC champions.

HEY, go and check out this website and see people's stories about life. Want to know who on the hub can match these stories. Site is Fmylife.com
  6. make sure you have a program for spinning. go to gym and note what the instructor does, then do the same at home. Go to Bicycling web site and look for programs. Ask Cyclelab for a program. But I also find that once you have a program in your head, you get bored, just watch TV then. Thats why I use rollers, so I have to concentrate so as not to fall off. But good luck. If you need a program, let me know, I have a few noted down
  7. Well done dudes. We start by setting the example to others
  8. stop or go at a red traffic light
  9. OK, so maybe I went over the top a bit. Apologies for that. I kow it will always be a discussion point, but to make it safer for all of us and that motorists do not get pissed off with us, we should obey the rules of the road. I mean, is this what we will teach our kids, its OK to break the law if no one is watching. We are very quick to scream and protest when a cyclist gets knocked down by a car, but we need to respect each other on the road.
  10. Obey the rules or get off the road. YOu give all of us a bad name.
  11. For people who go through red lights, one day you will get run over, then you will realise your mistake. In JHB its Northern Cycles who are famous for it on Hendrik Potgieter road.
  12. so you just want to be a fool on the road all the time!
  13. Why is it that certain cyclists do NOT want to stop at red traffic lights? You guys need to catch a wake up and start following the rules of the road. A red light means STOP, not look and if ots safe go through.
