hmmmm, im not sure its such a good idea, havent seen it before, but u always have to put your foot down here and there, would probable get damaged.

So, i just bought a road bike. Been an avid MTBer for quite some time. Do i really need to buy the road cleats or can i stick with my smaller cleats? Also easier to walk in and run into the transition area. Any power/speed differences with the bigger cleat?

Bootcamp will solve any issue u may have like this.

Not to get racial, but i checked a guy in the Edenvale area riding a Merida (Not quite sure the model) Black and lime green, discs, etc. The thing that caught my eye was he was in a blue overall and the bike had a pro nutro race number on the front, and he had a proper cycling bottle. I stopped him and kindly asked about it. He was shaking like a mad thing during questioning. He said his boss had given it to him. so i followed him to his "bosses" house. Upon arriving i just left because i though he may be legit. So then i felt bad for questioning the guy so i went back to offer him some cash to say sorry and make friends. When i got there the "boss" and his family were extremely low class with missing teeth etc, the house was in a shambles.. So, if your house looks like that, would you be handing out merida's to your garden boy?? Here's my verdict. -There are a whole bunch of low class people staying together. -The ''boss" would not hand out a Merida if he is evidently poor. -The "boss" certainly would not be doing any races, so why the pro nutro race number? -Due to the fact that cleat pedals were on the bike, the previous owner was not some low class. -The bike was stolen and no one who stays in that house actually cares because they would do the same. Now its the tricky part. About 20min later i saw the same guy walking. (did he ditch the bike because he knew people were suspicious???) If there is a lost Merida i will take action, if not, that bike will remain his and his story could be legit.

I have been in the real world, i worked at a firm last year designing pick n pay stores and distrubution centres, so "the real world is worse" comment just doesnt cut it with me hey.

I uess this is the place where adults can act like kids and its ok. haha. Yea i shouldnt have opened myself up cos people really did jump at the oppurtnity. To some it up from my part, and i hope every1 reads this, The course is intense, and in my free time during breaks or when assignments are done, i do private work and produce/master music. It makes money but not enough. I dont see myself as lazy, as right now i am busy on a house as we speak (making oney in the holidays). No sympathy required, nor any life lessons thank you very much. Just need to justify why we ALL pay so much and get nothing, NVM only students.

1) I want to, but wont because i feel im being ripped off and i need my money for other things. 2) I do have money, but need it for essential things. 3) I am making money but its not enough 4) I want to race as do you, you wait a couple ears before your next race and tell me how you feel. 6) I cant make more time then i am.

Haha, whatever, i dont need your sympathy, to clarify, Fridays are Crit days, so thurs night is always a late one. it started off as a mature topic, but then turned into a full out attack on me, with people trying to offer life lessons and stuff. haha

I also do music production/mastering on the side, I wouldnt be complaining if it made me enough cash to enter the races, im not such a lazy ass. I just cant do something that commits every thur fri sat or whatever. Draughting and music is done when i have the chance, its not a regular thing.

I do private jobs (small houses, additions, etc) on the side, but that barely covers petrol.

Dont want to study part time and add more years onto a 6 year degree. And it all depends on how seriously you are taking your course.
