There are 2 small groups of guys leaving from germiston lake on sundays at 6:30. One Social group amd one more intense group with some guys training for epic. you can either do 40 or 70 k's. at the 40 k mark u can turn off and head back a short distance to the lake.

Does any1 know where we can get the results?

was good. had the lead for a bit in the begining but there was a bunch that was working together and i was on my own. didnt turn out well. think i managed about 12th.

finish line cycles in kempton park. picked it up for 7000.. now have some mavics on. i wouldnt trade this bike for anything!!!

Hit a patch of what looked like a small muddy patch, next thing my whole front wheel dips in and i was thrown over the front. haha. must of been some kind of sinking sand 'cos my wheel was more the half submerged.

I must agree that this race was a load of nonsense. i wont be entering again. i got extremely bored. not one bit of adrenaline involved.. maybe at the end at the bike wash, but thats it.. far too commercial if u ask me.. everything was 100% ecxept fot the route. was DEAD boring!!
