  1. You guys should start at the back with me. Looks lovely
  2. We can have a Slowbee start group!
  3. Next year I am riding with you!
  4. E-bikes where all supposed to start in the last group
  5. I started in 6A (09:10) As soon as we hit the freeway people where scattered all over the road, and there where no groups to speak of at all. The E-bike group started passing me towards the end of Blue route at one hell of a speed. Most of them carrying massive backpacks, but I guess that was to carry the spare batteries around. Most of the E-bike guys where fine, but you did get the occasional (Rather large) lady trying to pass people up hills going twice the speed, and yelling rather loudly at anyone in her way. Was not ideal at all in my opinion. It rained hard up Chappies, and the wind down the other side was hectic. You really had to pay attention towards the end of the ride. Most of the guys doing a second lap where cool, there where a few who took a massive ego boost by showing off to all us back markers and weaving in and around us slower guys. my 53-39 front chaining didn't do me any favors on the day. All the gear and no idea. SO...Whats next?
  6. 6A will have a report up tomorrow. E-bikes and wind will feature heavily! Along with freezing rain up Chappies, and a guy racing in Crocs, playing the Titanic theme on repeat!
  7. If it makes anyone feel better.....6A Do I win a prize? (apart from possibly slowest time on the hub) Just got back into Cycling so have not completed any seeding events. I am amped though! Hope everyone enjoys it!
  8. Yah Tricky one. The Price Difference between the 2019 Evo and the new 2020 Evo is almost R20k I have the 2019 Supersix Evo and loving it. But then I cant go fast enough to feel the aero advantage the new bike offers.
  9. I am still having issues with trying to login. Yesterday and today. On Afrihost fiber,
  10. I think the one Race organizer / Marshall was on a Ebike

  13. I think they are just over 1.4Kg a set. So nice and light for climbing, but can still take my fat ass.. Will give them a proper shake down this weekend.
  14. Picked this up yesterday. Been waiting to post here for awhile now. Supersix Evo Ultegra Race with hollowgram carbon wheels
  15. Yes I understand that Thanks.
