  1. OK, so this thread has just depressed me. I am a huge PYGA fan and, in anticipation of my lbs getting new frames have already started buying parts (wheels, full groupo, brakes and seat post). Trouble is the smallest frame is a medium and I be knee high to a dwarf, which really sucks. my lbs is building a medium to see what the fit is like (I am confortable on a Spez Camber medium but anything else small is better). Does anything know if a small frame is in the works? Would suck badly if I have to sell all the parts and settle for a Giant or a Merida. Can you believe that Santa Cruz also doesnt manufacture a small Tallboy (no pun intended). I really want one to pimp for myself!! Anyway, nice bikes all you tall people.
  2. +1
  3. Do yourself a favour, buy a second hand bike (avoid carbon if buying second hand), you get good value for money and will be able to afford a middle of the range bike for the same price as a new entry level bike. Try to take a friend who knows bikes with you to check chain and drivetrain, shocks, hubs/wheels and other expensive to replace/repair parts. Based on your price range you will probably be looking at a hardtail - a dual suspension bike at that price is likely to be a lemon. Good luck!
  4. I have the Rudy's and Oakley's. Rudy's (Ketium) are supremely adjustable - I have been very happy with them so far EXCEPT - got some sea water on the lenses while fishing over december, didn't tinse them (stupid, I know) and the lenses appear to have been etched by the salt. Have had my Oakleys for almost 10 years (lots of seawater) and never had a problem with the lenses. Will go for the Rudy's (unless you are stupid enough to go fishing instead of riding)....
  5. Mate of mine told me about this and I just had to check it out! HUGE thumbs up for CWC!
