  1. Hi, Does your sister have the exact same model and spec bike as yours? If not, it could be worth looking into what the differences are and then making sure whatever you buy next at least matches that. There are quite a few components and spec choices that make up the sum of a bike.
  2. If not, drop us a DM. We're involved with a couple of development teams that are in need of donations.

  5. Hi Martin, We have two options in our range Titan Racing Charge https://titanracingbikes.com/bikes/jsf/jet-engine:bike-range-f/tax/range%3A102 The Charge is a rear hub-driven ebike with plenty of power to take you where you want to go. Explore. Travel. Commute. It is focused on the commuter market, with the option to take it on gravel roads to explore the great outdoors. It's not aimed at riders who want to head high up into the mountains and then bomb it down the single track. Titan Racing Nitric https://titanracingbikes.com/bikes/jsf/jet-engine:bike-range-f/tax/range%3A105 The Nitric is designed around a mid-mount motor with an internal battery mount. Paired with a 120mm fork and high-volume 2.6″ tires, the Nitric is ready to shred the trails on the weekends and commute during the week. In Stellenbosch, @flandriacycles will be able to assist.

Our MTB series is all about having fun, racing hard, and growing your love for mountain biking. With exciting short-track races, you’ll push your limits, make new friends, and feel the thrill of every finish line. Number / Board We are re-using the 2025 boards in 2026, so bring your old board along. Sub Nippers and those moving from primary to high school will be issued new boards, irrespective (free of charge). The board must be used for all races in the 2026 series. If you need a new board, we will issue one free of charge per year. A fee will be charged for subsequent replacement board requests. If you had a 2025 board and require a new one, fill in a request at Registration – Western Cape School Cycling – Support desk with the summary “New board” and share your name, date of birth, and, if known, old board number, then we will have it ready for you on the day, reducing waiting time. Parking Parking will be made available in and around the Devonbosch office buildings. More information will be provided shortly. Registration There will be a registration point at the venue where Team Managers must collect their school’s number boards at least one hour prior to the start of racing. The number boards contain a timing chip with a rider’s details, and cyclists may therefore not swap number boards! Should there be any children not represented by a Team Manager, they are to go to registration with a responsible adult. Registration opens at 7:30 Timing An electronic timing system will be in use. Each number board has an embedded chip that the timing system will pick up. Participants are required to have their number boards attached to the front handlebars before the start of an event. No board, no time! Please do not swap your timing board with another participant. Your personal information is stored on the timing system linked to the board you are issued with. The bike boards are to be kept for the entire series. If you lose your board between races, a new one can be purchased at registration at a cost of R50. Online Registration Use the Enter button below to register participants for the event. By using the same computer/phone as before, the persons you have previously registered will be displayed again. 14. Hi, we do have. You can ask your LBS to reach out to us to get the ball rolling. List of TR dealers HERE: https://titanracingbikes.com/dealers/
  15. I'll check with the team and get back to you.
  16. Hi, we have two options in our range that sound like a good fit based on your requirements. The Titan Racing Charge or Titan Racing Nitric are both hardtail models and are available in a size Small. The Bicycle Service Company is our dealer in Sandton and should be able to assist.
  17. Officially 28, but a 30 should be OK depending on the tire.
  18. Hi, do you know which year model frame it is? Also, is it carbon or alloy? Please share some images - we should be able to assist with details based on that.
  19. Iwan here from Titan Racing. I am 179 and ride a large. I have been riding for a while, so I know that I'm after a reach of around 470mm on a bike, which falls between the Med (459mm) and large (481mm). I went with a Large as I would rather "fix" that 10mm with a shorter stem, than going with a 10mm longer stem on the med. The Large feels like the perfect fit for me. In theory, a smaller bike should offer snappier handling due to the shorter wheelbase, and a larger bike more stability at high speed due to a longer wheelbase. But, to be honest, I have found that you need VERY twisty bits often on a trail to really benefit from snappier handling, or VERY fast descents in a fairly start line to cash in on the stability of a longer bike. Just like the aero benefit some manufacturers claim for their products requires a very high average speed in ideal conditions. So in the end, it is much of a muchness. At 179, I have been between sizes for much of my riding life, and have always been fine on the bigger of the two options I fall between. Where are you based? We have an ambassador based in Stellenbosch who rides a Large. I'd be happy to connect you two or get the bike from him and meet up with you to try it out.
  20. We do have a size guide on our site, if it helps. https://titanracingbikes.com/junior-range/ From personal experience, this is your answer: "I think being able to maneuver the bike and climb better would be more advantages over the benefits of the 26" wheel!"
  21. Hi, Iwan here from Titan Racing. Where are you based? I have a 24" with me (Northern Suburbs/Cape Town) and would be happy to meet up for your kid to try it out for size. It is always extremely difficult to give size advice via the web. What I would say from personal experience is avoid buying a bike that is too big to save in the long run. Bikes (and kids!) are expensive, but the wrong-sized bike will most likely do more harm. No 😎
