  1. Knipe Racing did an excellent job on this wheel build for me. When others said it wasn’t possible this was an easy build. Dropped off at shop and three hours later it was ready for collection. Even the detail to centering the spokes in the rim holes was done to near perfection. Very friendly crowd who went out of their way to help me with a few other items I needed, but they never had in store. Found myself a new favorite in CT. Everyone who was there while I waited seemed happy to be there and happy with the service they received.
  2. It was probably a cop on his break.
  3. Hi Guys. Managed to get myself a brand new Powertap G3 hub for a bargain. Bit of nostalgic build for me. Didn’t want pedal meters and I’ve got a Look 795 which can’t use other Powermeter. Question, I’m looking for a fair priced cycling computer that can take the ANT+ and sent it to my iPhone via Bluetooth. Any ideas?
  4. Knipe Racing it is. Spoke to the owner and he said no issues with my specific combo. Other shops wanted me to bring it in as they didn’t think it was possible. Let see how this goes.
  5. Yeah if you can buy the tools they are worth every penny. You won’t believe how many bike shops don’t even use torque wrenches when working. Absolute amateurs!!!! They think they can “feel” what good enough. And when they crack your R80,000 carbon frame who pays for that; the customer.
  6. My experience says that most bike shops will not do as good a job as someone who does their own work and takes the time to understand a bicycle properly. Ever since I had a bike shop swap out a fork that nearly got me crashed due to low rake angle, I never went back to a bike shop for service ever again. I learnt to do all my work myself and have never had a problem with a bike since. Multiple Cervelo and Look builds, wheel builds, hydraulic services, etc. For me I mostly see friends’ bikes coming back with problems from various shops rather than being 100% right first time!
  7. I see. I’m assuming this would be for the non-drive side mostly?
  8. Have you had issues with this combination yourself?
  9. Hi Everyone. I’ve purchased a brand new Powertap G3 hub and want to build it into a Bontrager Aeulous rear wheel. Can anyone recommend a reliable wheel builder who will get the job done first time without any drama or reworks? I’m very particular when it comes to my equipment so someone with a clean shop, the proper tools and with proper training. Thanks, Migual
  10. Picked this bad girl up so I can get back into riding. 94kg and dropping.
  11. Hi Everyone Fatso here! Haha. Been off the bike 10 years now and sitting at 94kg up from 68kg when I was young and beautiful. Im looking for my favorite bike I ever rode; a Cervelo Soloist Team ideally in black and 56cm. I want to build one to start riding on again. It was the bike I took on my first season in Europe on the cobbles and even though I’ve had plenty of other Cervelo carbon bikes it’s always remained my favorite bike I ever owned. So as part of my journey to get my health back and get my mind right I’m looking for one that I know is probably sitting gathering dust in someone’s garage. Please could you ask your mates and family if anyone knows of one that I can buy? Would make a world of difference to my life to get back on the bike again and this is kind of my motivation in the making. Thank you!
  12. It is a rather common Spanish name Migual and Martinez. But let's see. Maybe the sport runs with the name hey.
  13. Sorry don't quite understand this one. Is My Training Day a user name here or a group on the HUB? I would take it they are elite athletes or a team or something?
