  1. Big H - are you serious about this? I thought the pilot called the shots and the stoker did what he was told to? Yup dead serious...... if your stoker is the daughter of your mother in law even more so!!!!!!! I thought that's what ipods were made for
  2. Just ask some who had them and went back to the other one. https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=25114&PN=1 Oh, don't get me wrong, if they work for you, sweet. I'm just not sold for me.
  3. Waddya mean? 15 years ago they had square chainrings... they called them "Biopace" didn't last then either... I meant that after 15 years of tandem riding... I discovered Q-rings....yes it was biopace then.. not the same... Point is - that my stoker and I battled up the hills.. mainly because of our different points of our powerstroke. Now with Q-rings we fly!!! Fact. My boet and I weight 200 kg (without the bike) and since going Q have never used granny again. Matter a fact we climb some of the rolling of D'ville without going to middle blade. Oh, well, there you go then... Biopace rings only ever gave me sore knees...
  4. http://www.bikeshoponline.co.za/ WARNING! You will be VERY disappointed if you click on that link... Those aren't interesting at all... Go wash your mouth out with soap...
  5. Oh... They look like Biopace to me... I'm not convinced...
  6. You mean it isn't just thehubsa?

  9. no no no bob, this is a religious thread, dealing with food. you cant say OMG you have to say WTF Oh, sorry. OK, I missed soooo many pages of this one, is it ok to say UCI, or still on the banned list?
  10. exactly... we need acurate figures... go to 4 different shops, weigh the pooch and give us an true figure
  11. And the puppy?
  12. Sums up the UCI perfectly... To bring this thread back to Pantani's original comment, wot started all the fuss...
  13. The feeding bit was the Romans (but still apparently occurs at the Jhb Lion Park on an infrequent basis). The burning oil bit has me. Sounds a bit Spanish Inquisitioningy to me... Pah! "Oh no! Not the Spanish Inquisition!" "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition"' date=' comfy chair, etc., etc. ... [/quote'] Ya, but at the JHB lion park they use taiwanese tourists, who don't necessarily have to be Christian, I don't think. And you are right, this whole thread is a bit monty pythonesque... I'm gonna report it!
  14. i'm confused. be like a lion. be fed to lions. wth?? which is it? Ah, hell, probably both, those romans were crazy... not as crazy as the possibly Christian UCI, but crazy non the less
  15. Well you are lucky we are not in the 15 hundreds because then the Christian thing to do was to cut off your head When was the burning oil and feeding to the lions bit?
  16. Do you have time to sift through 57 pages? not going to live this down am i .. Sorry. Buy a new bike in less than a page and all will be forgiven....
  17. Do you have time to sift through 57 pages?
  18. OMG version 2.0... Run and hide everybody!!! What happened? Trying to prevent more un-authorised access? bob_the_builder2008-05-09 06:42:46
  19. Oh, and for the record, read my signature.
  20. "In 1934, recumbents set world records, only to be banned from further competition by the forces of bad-technology hegemony in the form of the UCI (Union Cycliste International), the recumbent equivalent of the evil empire and Microsoft rolled into one." Not apparently if you ride a recumbent. Then they are the personification of evil... http://www.streettech.com/archives_Special/bikeE.html
