Right, here we go..... I have an open invite to all hubber-mtb'ers who want to explore the ceres valley, to come and join me for a nice ride at Eselfontein, on Saturday, 4 April 2009. Time to be determined, probably 8:00. This is to be followed by a lekker Wimpy breakfast for those interested. I had a pair of Wolverines before I went tubeless..... haven't seen them in the UST version.... Currently I have no reason to change from my Kenda Karma front and Crossmarx back combination....

I had a Kenda Karma front and back, which is awesome, but at the rear they just don't last.... Then got the Crossmarx for the back, which is great! VERY VERY VERY tough, never once needed to plug, now on my second one.... Still on my first Karma on the front.... 3000kms later.... And no, not excessive braking! (I'm just a bit heavy)

Still only one bike.... Mongoose Canaan Hoping to get my road bike soon!

No, not 100% carlo. I'm just thinking the bike might be a bit smaller than it should because the current owner is a bit shorter than me....

Seeing that this will be my first roadbike, (if it works), I will not know how comfortable I should be anyway!

Ok, my scenario is this: I want a road bike REAAAAAL bad, but finances doesn't allow it. Today someone I know let me know that I can take over his second hand bike for a bargain...... but he is a bit shorter than me... Is there any way one can get away with this? Meaning if you should ride a 56, can you ride a 54 with longer seatpost, stem, etc.....

ek wil graag eendag al ons land se groot races doen, tans knor die finansies maar net bq, so petrol en stuff hou my maar bq weg van die races af.....

As mens by coetzenburg parkeer, is dit so 5km teer tot by eden, dan offroad en net weer kort stukkie deur stellenbosch teer. in totaal 10km max. as mens dan jonkers toe ry met bikes is die kom en gaan ook teer, maar dit kan mens besluit....

as dit net ek jy en tromps is gaan ons mos niks vir niemand probeer bewys nie??? dis 'n flippen lekker roete, baie klimme en tricky descents, en soos ek se kan ons jonkers daarna ry. maar dis jou keuse, ek dink net dit sal lekker wees....

Eentyd, wat van ons doen 'n slag die Eden, coetzenburg, ou helshoogte damme, botmanskop ding? kannie onthou dat jy al daar saam gery het nie? as ons in stellenbosch begin en daai roetes ry kan ons altyd jonkers ook doen!

Mnr Likkewaan. Dis voorwaar goed om van jou te hoor, maar ek moet my tegniese skills bq opskerp, tans nul!!! En my tyres kry ook erg seer met al die road riding wat ek doen!!! So wil probeer om bq meer op die grond te ry...
