  3. Please guys, keep an eye out for frails bike, it was seen in Parow, Western Cape, in the week, guy trying to sell it off at Parow Fleamarket. Hopefully it is recovered soon. Bionic man2009-09-14 00:08:07
  4. Your body is the best judge of what is right and what is wrong, ride the bike and make small changes as you go along, otherwise go for a Pro Setup and then do the same.(At least you have a good starting point) Remember to stretch those leg muscles also (something I always neglected) - has made a huge difference to comfort in the saddle, nevermind power and speed.
  5. My piece of the pie - Tell one and all you are learning group riding and you will have plenty help/advice - don't be nervous and most important of all, have fun.
  6. Shouldn't say on a public forum but what the hell, 4 times when I first started and got it down to 2 times just before the Argus, reckon I am back at 4 times now as I am recovering from a knee injury(plus an extra few kilos)
  7. You small compared to me, try Killarney for a start, us posers can count how many times we get lapped.
  8. Hi David, you can supply a pic of the bike to your local police station and they in turn will circulate the pic to all stations in the Western Cape. You can also inform Cash Convertors/Crusaders and they in turn will notify all there branches, hopefully something comes out of this. Why not get hold of the Argus and have them run an article for you, I am sure someone will be willing to help you out.
  9. I wonder what kind of saddle he/she/it has fitted

Must be the 'Wheels' that made all the difference frail
  12. You were my motivation to stop smoking and start cycling David, so I should be thanking you, anyway, nothing wrong with borrowing a fellow cyclist a set of wheels. See, it's not only the pretty female HUBBERS that I help out, now enough of this dilly dallying and go train.
  13. After 4 months of no training due to an injury I decided to get mine done too, at SSI in Newlands, that and a proper training and eating programme should see this old fart go like the clappers (in 3 months time) just need to be patient for now
  14. Check out the size of the turds, then go with 'ROTTY' or 'rotty', 'Klein Bliksem' also comes to mind.
  15. I always thought it was compulsory/law to wear a helmet, are you guys saying stuff the law, with attitudes like this it's no wonder we are becoming a real lawless country - shame on those of you who don't give a dam. No wonder motorists like us so much. Aaaaah, now I feel better.
  16. Thanks too all those who sent messages so far and phoned, great to know there are still people out there who care.
