  1. We LOVE the mountains, last picture is todays lovely weather, showing THE MAST on Tokai. Other two are Silvermine.
  2. Nice matt finish too the frame, you just need to cover up any open threads and obviously other bits you don't want blasted. Will get proper contact details in the morning (was a favour done by the company but sure they wouldn't mind extra business).
  3. Would be funny if you punctured with false teeth - 'Cyclist rides through POO and puntures on dentures'
  4. Taking my spare frame to a guy in Kirstenhof for bead blasting, previous one he did came out brilliant. Price is under R100.
  5. Wishing you all the best for tomorrow David, have a blast
  6. Always willing to help (if possible), give me a ring if you need support, backup etc. BUMPITY BUMP
  7. and be associated with those gays.....never! This all sounds like an undercover tailgunner.... Maybe he is struggling to open the closet door
  8. This is the digital age, you don't need to develop photos no more
  9. Bike found - (or rather the frame), now police following leads.
  10. As long as it's not a carbon saddle. I have a road saddle on my MTB that I use for commuting etc.
  11. I think the main issue here is 'CYCLISTS RIDING 2 or 3 ABREAST' with no regard for other traffic. It's wrong, selfish, senseless and typical South African mentality of late. I shed no tears if they get . Just gives those of us who cycle decently a 'BAD' name.
  12. My 2 cents, I was just over 100kg when I bought my carbon bike, Dura Ace tubless clinchers, no breakages 1 year later (mid 80kgs now). Same with my MTB wheelset, ZTR Olympics which I bought when I was 97kg, also no breakages. If the items are built by guys who know what is what you shouldnt have a problem.
  13. Hahahahaha, i am a PRAWN, Hahahaha I love it. I suppose SETH is the type to ride a VW (not to be taken seriously by VW owners - LOL) and I suppose he also has his name as a numberplate (just a generalisation) - what a 'wannabe' (even though he makes some good points at times) - good laugh for a monday morning.
  14. My friends bike was just stolen in Plumstead - 20/09/2009, Western Cape, out of his car along with a whole lot of new spares. 2003 Raleigh RC9000 Large (green/blue), full carbon fork, carbon rear stays, RPM carbon crank, Ritchey wheels, Campag 9spd groupset, Kore seat and seatpost, along with his shoes, helmet, brand new Ryder pedals, spare Ultegra 9spd crank, carbon stem and a GPS for his boat. No pics unfortunately, The usual reports have been filled in and I pity the birdbrain when he gets caught (not). Please guys, keep a lookout, very distinctive frame colour. 0833788670 or PM if you have info - reward offeredBionic man2009-11-09 10:47:55
  15. The third party was fortunately not locked up, feel sorry for him as he is a really great guy. Please guys, insist on at least an ID number when buying second hand, just to cover your own butts. Nice ride Shaun, glad I could help.
  16. Tried to phone, please call Bionic man2009-09-13 23:56:14
  17. One thing I learnt from Tandem riding - it's like a dance, if you both move in sync you will have a perfectly balanced machine, if one of you is nervous and moves around a lot, the bike feels unbalanced, regardless of the size of riders and where they sit. (We won't even mention the effects of flatulence on the stoker)
  18. Good to see you also use the small blade, looking good.
