go to the best bike store nearby and talk to a professional cyclist. the most important thing is how it feels when you ride it and that the size is correct. It must also be up to the task ie. do you intend racing it and at what level? Buy an entry level bike for much less now, then when you need it, move up to something more expensive. Don't buy something because it's pretty.fiasm2008-01-25 06:02:58
  4. ... until those plugs go under water' date=' and then they will have no idea . fiasm, I see you're from Oz. Ok, well enough said then [/quote'] Sean, I couldn't find an emoticon for 'sarcasm' against my comment
  5. the brains behind this is what we call an 'ideas man'
  6. ah' date=' no. they are not that advanced but maybe one of you boys who require would could design it??[/quote'] wHAT A GREAT IDEA......... YOU COULD MAKE MEGA $$$$$$$ sooooooo last year. polar has don that already. THey have moved on to making with addidas intergrated running shirts where you plug you hrm into the shirt. that's a shirt, not a bra
  7. ah, no. they are not that advanced but maybe one of you boys who require would could design it??
  8. Careful - you will soon be wearing a bra as well? exactly!
  9. i'm sorry to ask but to which point do you refer?
  10. just click back a page...
  11. they come in large (18d), huge (18dd), jumbos (20eee). does that help?
  12. We are dispensing advice on weight reduction at the moment. Ewep is a guy for those of you who are not in the know. He has a weight problem so much so that he has to wear a sports bra when cycling. Marc I know that we may be slightly off the topic but his problems are far greater than Silaboys. make sure he gets a minimiser bra then, not the standard sports bra. too much movement (it's late for me, time to get silly-sorry)
  13. silvaboy, try the muscle science range. they are used by and work for champion cyclists so just play around until you find what works for you. they are good products.
  14. Naturally it's also 'easy' to criticise people behind their backs when they are not able to defend themselves. To everyone who took part in this slagging, perhaps instead your time might have been better spent reading the news about the Scottish cyclist killed on the road. How many people bothered? 47! Life is too short for this s...t. I'm out of here
  15. 20 pages of pure dribble. Why can't you just be proud that there is a 'team' of cyclists assembled to represent your country? Morne Blignaut was the only SA rider at recent World Cup rounds. Why don't you knock yourselves out figuring out who else should have gone and why no-one else was there!
  16. Reasons to stay indoors: 1.perhaps when the mood struck, her favourite tv show was on 2. it was too hot outside and the aircond was preferable 3. there was rain on the way 4. considering the number of muggings, she didn't fancy that risk
  17. I have another-Galli brakes circa 1980. Still too mod?
  18. 1981? too modern?
  19. by the way, I'm not offering it. If you want to see what it looks like to jog your memory I will upload picture. It's a classic 80's saddle
  20. how does one upload a photo?
  21. for the seat may I suggest a Concor Superleggera (I still have one in my possession)
  22. In their case' date=' true love [/quote'] the sheep are in central oz, the people on the coast. how often do you reckon they get it on? is it true you like to sleep with the baboons?
  23. not everyone can make a career out of being a cyclist (what's that expression? DUH?) I started racing at that age and I would encourage any child to do so. Some fellow competitors continued and went on to the Olympics, others left the sport, which will happen at any age. Why limit kids when, I promise you, it's fun anyway?
