  7. Hi, It's a good bike - I bought my wife a similar one last year. What are you basing your decision on to buy a Titan? Did you shop around for other brands, or maybe even look for a good spec 2nd hand bike here on the hub.
  8. If someone can provide me with a xls or text file with all the races I will gladly create the outlook calendar file.
  9. Hi, For some stupid reason I'm unable to find ANY photos on their website; nevermind even trying to find a photo of myself. Would anybody know if they just take their time to upload the photos to their webserver ? If so when would one be able to search for photos. Thanx, Robert

  14. Hi Everybody, I saw an ad for a new cycle shop called: "The sports basement" has anybody been there ? As the website still doesn't seem to work and I haven't been able to get to Woodmead. www.thesportsbasement.co.za Thanx, Robert
  15. Awesome!! Will be there.
  16. Has anybody been out to this track/trail in the past month - is still open ? As we are looking for some other trails/routes in the Pretoria area.
  17. I had the same sort of experience! (buying a piece of land) - It carried on for about a month and I finally went to the physio and he said it was a muscle that stiffened on impact; thus the pain when trying to lift your arm above should height. It might be worth it to go to the physio, my shoulder is now a lot better (2 months down the line) but still not 100%
  18. Brilliant!
  19. Let the shopping begin!! Congrats the new site looks good!
  20. "drooling" on the twitter page it seems that they will be going live at 14.00
  21. Now this is great news, another new trail to go and play in. What sort of cost are we looking at? And how long is the route now? We will be coming through on sunday!
  22. Yipee!!! I finally got a decent bike, well considering my previous one was a makro/game special - and the singeltracks and mtb fun has grown on me - so it was time for a investment. Cannot wait for groenkloof on saturday! It's going to be great! Some more information My Giant Revel 0
  23. Hi Everybody, I found this on the www.mtbroutes.co.za website? Has anybody been out there? As it seems like a worthwhile outing! MTBroutes Getting there N’kosi Sana Game Lodge is set among the scenic hills of Groenfontein, an hour outside of Pretoria. On your bike This extensive property has approximately 50km of jeep tracks and game paths which should satisfy all levels of rider. Although it is only an hour out of Pretoria, you’ll experience pristine bushveld with plenty of game along your route. Sixteen game species can be observed along the trails from steenbok to giraffe. The terrain is very hilly which ensures interesting riding, with two fountains and a river for refreshing stops as well as some water passages for riding. Off your bike In addition to the game drives and walks, the birding and fishing, the lodge has table tennis, beach volleyball, a billiards and snooker table, and archery, of all things! CONTACT Route Information: Hans Schachl, Nkosi Sana Game Lodge Address: PO Box 80, De Wagensdrif, 1002 Telephone: Office - 071 500 7818 / Cell 082 343 8787 Email: schachl@global.co.za Website: www.nkosisana.co.za
  24. Yes!! Sounds like fun and a good idea!
  25. True that - we normally do that if we are a bunch of people going riding; a bit more of a hassle when it's just me and missus! But I get your point - it's always the best to light a fire and talk about the ride and near falls!
