  1. Thanks, I have been looking forward to this review. Having previously owned an AMS I can vouch that it is super fast. (Still on a Cube) Did you compare times against similar bikes on a specific route or segment.
  2. Yes it will be very interesting. I would take the Cube over the others but that's my opinion. I would love to see a review on my current bike, the Cube Stereo 120 HPC.
  3. Great to see a review on the Cube been done. Look forward to reading the results.
  4. I had my lap top re - appropriated the other day and lost a lot of my photos. I am specifically bummed about my photos from Morzine in 2013. Had to copy the few I posted here to try get something back! I am sure that having to go and retake some pics is a good enough excuse to go back soon ! Super jealous of everyone going this year.
  5. Just took delivery of my new Cube. Cant wait to hit the Plett trails from next week.
  6. Thank you. Yes, they are the same price. Both are expected to be in the range of R50k according to a little birdie
  7. In short TM = Pike fork, 1 x 11 X0, Brakes are SRAM Guide R (dont know much about these) Race = Fox fork, 3 x 10 XT groupset
  8. Sorry to divert the thread, but I was interested in the comments the enduro specs @ Flowta http://www.cube.eu/uk/bikes/fullsuspension/stereo/cube-stereo-140-super-hpc-tm-275-carbonnflashred-2015/ http://www.cube.eu/uk/bikes/fullsuspension/stereo/cube-stereo-140-super-hpc-race-275-carbonnflashred-2015/
  9. For the experts out there, I was looking at the Cube Stereo 140 27.7 There are two versions, the race and TM, which I have been told are the same price. The TM is a bit more enduro focused, vs the Race. I will ride all sorts of trails, not just enduro, so the race seems the better option, but not sure. Always good to get experienced opinions
  10. Anyone one remember the PINA mountain bike, sold by ASG. It was not a fake but was old on the impression of being a Pinerello Flame suit on.
  11. I like!!!!! I see it has the XTR Di shifters!
  12. Hi Anyone know if Xentis wheels are available in SA? A friend has them on his Cube tri bike and they are awesome. Want to see if I can get for my road bike. Anyone know how they compare to Citec (also one of my favorite wheels) I see the also have MTB wheels. Anyone ride them? I would be torn between them, Citec and Syntace for a new set of MTB wheels
  13. Mmmm, this is dangerous. I am considering a new Cube. This might push me over the “never to return” edge. See you there
  14. Have a look at the Cube ladies specific shorts. My wife will now not ride in anything else and all the friends that bought them now only wear them. I dont know the details between other brands, but they all swear by the Cube
  15. Damm, I am super jealous now. I feels like yesterday I was there and cant wait to go again. I think it is worse now, knowing how good it is and not been able to go. Pictures just dont do justice.
  16. Great. Please forward and invite other ladies you know who may want to join
  17. Cool, lets organise for a 08:00 start at Frattelis and do a loop around the Emmarentia. First ride on Sat 5 July (we will be in PMB this weekend so cant make it, but if other ladies would like to start this Sat, then go for it) All ladies welcome for an easy ride. Depending on numbers and ability we might split into two groups. Newbies welcome. The aim is for a social ladies ride.
  18. My better half is keen to ride with a group of ladies on the spruit. Will chat about it tonight and I will be happy to help organise to get it started.
  19. Great Idea I hear that Cube will have the Cube AMS 100 SHPC SLT 29er at the show, plus some other awesome bikes. Starting to stock up on drewl already!
  20. @Tyga - I should be able to assist with at least one bike from Drakensville to the start. Pls PM for contact details
  21. HI As a first timer, what are the best options for accomodation on the first night. Will have car with me, so thinking about just camping at ATKV.
  22. From the article I saw in the papers, Cycle Lab was under liquidation. So more of a bail out than an aquisition. And not for the first time. Will be interesting to see the develoments!
  23. Now that you all back at work and surfing thehub. Any takers?
