  1. Missing this one please tell me the third event will be early next year!
  2. Do it!! Compared to Hakahana take away the rocks make the downhills twice as long and hakahana has no flow for me at least... PS on the first run I crashed 4 times at the previous event and kept strugling back up the hill for more, its the most fun you can have on a bike (if you don't have DH sized balls)
  3. After yesterday I would take the weight penalty any day! Changes the way you ride completly and gives me so much more confidence on the descents!
  4. I don't think so I was on the orange onetwenty650. Luckily I was on a 2x10 setup. Was my first race on mine and was proper impresed wouldn't trade it for any bike out there!
  5. Jip the downhills and singletrack was great, Thanks!
  6. Was probably the only guy in a batch for the marathon with a dropper seat post and 140mm travel (on hell of a heavy bike) but absolutely loved the downhill and cried on every climb!! Big thanks to the guys that gave track even though it was one hell of a rocky descent!! PS Thanks to the guy riding in black educos kit on white cube you saved my life with that water bottle just before the last water point
  7. Thanks, it's a great family so far!! Nope and I don't think I will ever stop smiling
  8. Got mine last friday!
  9. Don't know what the Spez Camber frame weighs but know there are some pyga builds coming in under 13kg's with a frame weight of +/- 3.3kg for the large frame. However I don't think weight should be the deciding factor on this type of bike especialy if you're not a race snake, you can always put on lighter gearing.
  10. The pyga will be the most fun you could have on bike that won't kill you on a marathon and able to do a downhill fun, singletrack ! http://www.bicycling.co.za/bikes-gear/full-suspension-mountain-bikes-29ers-reviewed/6/
  11. Sorry of topic but if the company already submitted their EMP501 your IRP5 will be ready and waiting for you on the efiling system you dont have to wait for them to hand you the copy!
  12. Great skills shouldn't lack that much as I do quite a bit of XCO, will definetly come and give it a try! Doing the ultra marathon, coming from gauteng I guess my legs will be dead come monday morning...
  13. Hi guys how technical is the courses, will I be able to ride it without prior runs and on a XC bike. Going down for the Hilton Mtn race and would love to give enduro a try!
